Back to the rage with Amazon... So I got a $30 promotional credit for order Windows 8. I decided to use that on Far Cry 3 for PC. However, you can't use the credit for downloadable titles so I had to use it on the physical copy. So essentially more headache for them to ship me the physical copy yet in the end I still get the same thing either way... pretty dumb on their end. So long as the game activates on Steam then I'll have a lifetime digital copy anyway.
I wonder if I got my credit. I better check my e-mail. I can use that baby on Dishonored Thursday.

No Thanksgiving is, nor ever will be, complete without being bombed with live turkeys. Still to this day one of the funniest fucking Thanksgiving episodes I have ever seen.
WKRP is so great. Was introduced to it by my uncle and I've watched most of all of it. Such a wonderful show.
Well, only a couple more hours before I have to go out and deal with all the dumbshits and nutjobs out Black Friday shopping for another year. Our campaigns, the toy drive and food drive, for a couple years now have been combining forces on Black Friday, canvassing the entire north side of town in front of the mall and Walmart, trying to collect as much money from the Black Friday nutjobs as we can.
We usually start around 4am, go until 8am or so (one year we stopped around 7:30 because it was raining, another year around 7:45 because it was something like 10 degrees and windy as all fucking hell) and this year looks to suck also. There's rain that's supposed to start anytime now (looking at radar, there's a couple bands of rain in Indiana right now) that will go until at least 6am, and even though it's 54 degrees at the moment, it's only downhill from here to a lovely 37-39 degrees by 7 or 8am.
Yeah, this is gonna suck. Thank god I have all my work in the office done for the week and don't have to go in for anything today. After 8am comes (and a possible group trip to a friend's restaurant for breakfast) just have to wait until 12:30 for a haircut appointment and then I can hit the sack for the rest of the day.
ESPN Classic was showing episodes of Friday Night Lights last night. That show is my favorite drama series of all-time. I LOVE that show.
