I know the Xbox bowl needs the real stadium(Ford Center at The Star). but it was kinda just thrown in to replace the Bahamas Bowl. It'll likely get the stadium next year unless Jerry Jones doesn't allow it for some reason.

I don't know this for a fact, but I assumed both the Xbox Bowl (is sponsorship long-term?) and Scooter's Frisco Bowl to be back at Toyota Stadium next year once renovations are complete. Do you happen to know if that's true? (I will Google it shortly.)

I'm not quite sure. Haven't heard anything else about it, only that it was the replacement for the Bahamas bowl, but in-game, I think it's just a generic stadium? I don't think they ever had the real stadium from the Bahamas bowl game. I think it might stay in the Star for future years. But I guess it depends on if they think they need the extra seating. pre-renovation, both locations seats 11K-12K people. after renovation, I think they upped the seating to 22K for Toyota Stadium.

The Frisco Bowl will likely go back to the Soccer Stadium once it's done with renovations. the 2 location are only like 4 miles apart.

aside to that, I did watch the Div II Championship and it was held in the McKinney High School Stadium. thought it was interesting to see a College championship game being played in a High School stadium, and apparently since 2018 as well. I live just down the road from it.
