EA SPORTS College Football 25 has added player number editing for non-NIL & CPU-generated players. This update came for offline Dynasties in game update 1.011 on Monday and for Online Dynasties in a server-side update Thursday. This update allows users to edit their Road to Glory player's number during the season as well.

Details on game update 1.011 were never made available by EA SPORTS, but community members believe that - in addition to the offline Dynasty number editing - it also corrected the bug where users could not fully hot route when running play-action.
