Solid conference for Nintendo but didn't convince me to buy a Switch. Their exclusive games just don't justify me buying a console for 2-3 quality games a year.

It really worked nicely having both land and sea things to do. I'm sure this will be more robust and maybe do very well. For Honor has been good.

Could be wrong, but I thought I heard it is basically online only? No story mode/campaign. Could be wrong though.

The ships were great in Black Flag, but the game overall was one of the best in the series; probably top two or three IMO.

I really did enjoy the naval battles in that game, they did an amazing job designing naval battles.

I'm not sure how this game will turn out, right cautious optimism us my view of it.

Rocket League coming to switch. Nintendo announced Rocket League, another of the world's biggest games, is coming to Nintendo Switch, and developer Psyonix confirmed cross-platform play between Xbox One, Switch and Steam.

I don't think I took down those legendary ships. Always got my butt kicked.

As for only online and no story, I'm actually fine with that for some games now. For Honor had a story mode and I haven't played it a single minute although my kids liked it. But I have spent almost 100 hours in online combat not to mention menus and everything else. For certain games the online modes are all that is needed.

Well I watched the trailer for Skull & Bones and there are more things to do than I realized. There are different types of ships and it's a 5 v 5 battle. I don't know if your ship blows up if you are done for the match or can respawn though. The wind matters but the goal is to run around and collect loot. At the end of the match Pirate hunters come in and run everyone off. The team that escapes with the most loot wins. The cool thing is you can actually board ships. I always liked that part in Black Flag although I'm not sure you actually fight manually on the other ship in this game. Who knows how this will play out long term but I registered for the beta and will check it out.

Makes me want to fire up Black Flag again.

So far it seems the only reason we buy Nintendo Switch is just for Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild.
Skull and Bones look pretty good, let's see what we'll have in the future, for now it's like Black Flag Pvp pirates ship edition.

Devolver loses $100K on banned E3 festival

    https://www.polygon.com/e3/2017/6/15...ed-e3-festival

The did have the best E3 conference, that was not technically an E3 conference and generally mocked the process.

NSFW just FYI. Violence and blood, just like their games!

385+ backward compatibility games. Will be adding original Xbox titles, including Crimson Skies.

Over 50% of XB1 users have played a BC game.
You would have thought they would have had something big for backwards compatibility at E3, oh well, I still like the program, especially how it works if you already own the game on 360.

Everything shown will be out THIS YEAR.

Show was quick and to the point. Basically a pre-packaged show under the 'Bethesdaland' moniker with PR head speaking briefly before and afterwards.
    That. Was a badass trailer!

Yeah, I still have a lot to catch up on, but that was my favorite trailer. I love the Nazi revisionist stuff though like Man In The High Castle on Amazon, great show.

I think EA sucked for the consumer at EA. Private showings of games, not a lot of hands on outside of preferred Youtube channels and a major restriction on videos. I used to love to get full gameplay clips from E3. Now Madden info is garbage. I feel like I've learned next to nothing about that title yet. It is early and I'm sure EA wants to control the marketing but E3 was a lot more enjoyable in the past with a lot more info for sports games. EA wasn't the only one. Was NBA 2K even on display?

Yeah I never understood why they prefer the YouTuber route, but almost every company is doing that now.

    E3 attendance up 30 percent over 2016

Definitely great for the state of gaming...

Take Two generally skips E3, outside of attending and having a private conference the past few years. They did not even show off anything for Red Dead Redemption 2.

Assassins Creed Origins is having an overhaul to combat. Expanded light and heavy commands along with bows. Nice!

SKULL & BONES WILL HAVE A STORY CAMPAIGN

    http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/06/...story-campaign

Speaking to PC Gamer, an Ubisoft representative said the game "will offer a narrative campaign which will be integrated into the game and will not be something aside of the multiplayer experience. In this campaign, players will encounter iconic characters and memorable rival pirates. More details will be shared at a later date."
