Pretty similar. The switch runs at 900p where the WiiU is only 720p. There is no framerate difference and the big graphical change is the Switch is brighter with slightly better textures. I would imagine a big reason to upgrade is the ability to play it in mobile form.
That plus a lot of people won't be upgrading from the Wii U because they don't own it.
