There is not a country or civilization in mankind that has a clean history. Still does not justify what Trudeau said about Castro.
I would assume that before settlers arrived in America, the different tribes of Indians slaughtered each other in greater numbers. They were still fighting each other when we were fighting them.

A lot of interesting quotes from world leaders on Castro. Even a number of high profile Americans (eg Carter, Kerry, etc.) as well as the president of Mexico sounded just like the Trudeau quote. Look, BD I'm not saying Castro was a great guy and I'm not trying to pick a fight. I was merely trying to give you the context of the Canada-Cuba economic relationship. Sadly, both US backed and non-US backed Latin American countries have an abundance of bloodshed in the 2nd half of the 20th century.
Nevermind Trump's own love and praise of people as bad as, if not worse than Castro. Trump has praised Putin, Bashar Al-Assad, Gaddafi, Hussein, but yep, a couple remarks by Trudeau about a just recently died Castro and it's some great giant abomination.
