Childress flew under the radar of every program in the country. Severely underrated by scouts, he would have been consensus #1 in the country, however, he only started playing football his senior year; prior to that, he was a track star. With excellent speed, elusiveness combined with a very strong arm and decent accuracy, Childress is the gem of the class for the Red Wolves.
Coaches have decided that despite having a returning starter in place and two good backups behind him, Childress won't redshirt his first year in order to ensure he doesn't transfer. Instead, he'll have packages designed for him in a pseudo-wildcat role.
Childress received no other offers; he had wanted to go to Virginia Tech but coaches wouldn't return his call. |

With the upcoming graduating of James Davis, coaches were forced to look for his replacement. And when a strong-footed kicker graduates, why not sign the #1 kicker in the country. Foster has very good strength and good accuracy to go with it.
Foster received no other offers. |

Coaches still aren't quite sure how Waylon Williams arrived on campus for their game against USC... he just sort of showed up on his own. That said, Williams isn't all that flashy, but he is solid at coverage.
He'll redshirt for his first year and after that will likely only be a role player or Dime DB at best.
Williams received no other offers. |
