Sigh, I have to go through this shit yet again.
Houston Rockets. Won back to back NBA Finals in the mid-90s. They had had a .500 or better records in 33 of the 44 seasons they have been called the Houston Rockets. They finished .600 or better in 12 of those 33 seasons (so around 49-50 wins or better). During that time, won two NBA Finals, lost two NBA Finals. They've won their division 5 times and finished third or better 29 times. Four Western Conference Championships. They've been to the NBA Playoffs 8 times since 2004. Wins the last three years were 45-54-56. They have finished with fewer than 42 wins (a .512 season) just TWICE since 2002. They've had 50+ wins in 6 of their last 11 seasons. But yep, they were nothing but shit and didn't become good until Houston was awarded a Super Bowl.
Houston Astros. We've already been over the fact you are absolutely fucking clueless about baseball, and unless teams spend more fucking money than Trump (Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox, etc), then most teams only hopes of contending are through trades, the MLB draft, and bringing players up through their farm system over a period of years. Fascinating. The Royals had a highly ranked farm system before these last couple seasons, and even now they still have a pretty decent farm system. The Astros have had one of the best farm systems for years because they are fucking loaded in the minors. Those minor league players are just now starting to reach the point where they are being called up to the major league roster and hence, what the fuck do you know, Astros having success!
But lets go a little deeper. Astros went to the World Series in 2005. They've been to the playoff seven times since 1997, finishing 2nd or better in their division in that same time span, including four division titles and one national league pennant. They've finish .500 or better in 16 of the past 24 seasons, including having 90+ wins four times and one having 100+ wins in that same stretch. In fact, other than the 2011-2013 stretch where the team only won 56, 55 and 51 games, the Astros have always won at least 70 games every year since 1992. But yep, they've always been shit and worthless and never became good until Houston got a Super Bowl.
And finally the Houston Texans. This'll be easy since they've only played 14 seasons. They've finished 8-8 (.500) or better in 7 of their 14 seasons as a team. They've won 9 or more games 5 times in their 14 seasons as a team. They've topped 10 wins twice, and even reached 12 wins back in 2012. They've been to the playoffs 3 of the last 5 years, won three division titles in those same three years they made the playoffs, and have finished first or second in their division 5 of the last 7 years. They're an above .500 team in their last 9 seasons. Even taking into account the two seasons they went 6-10 and 2-14, they STILL have won more games than they've lost combined in the last 9 seasons since 2007. But yep, the Houston Texans were nothing but shit until Houston got a Super Bowl.
You know, actually looking at the dates, ain't that bitch? Houston goes 10-6 and 12-4 in 2011 and 2012, getting wild card victories each team, then after being awarded the Super Bowl in May 2013, they have their worst fucking seaosn of their entire fucking history as a team, going an abysmal 2-14. Yep, being awarded that Super Bowl in 2013 sure was a big positive for them that season!
So what's your next retarded claim gonna be fuckwhistle?
