If the defense didn't play the game of their lives (until that increasingly shitty fourth quarter), it probably would have been a blowout. Outside of the first quarter, the first two or three minutes of the second quarter and the first couple of minutes of the fourth quarter, the offense was absolutely useless and nonexistent.

They truly pulled this one out of their asses. Now they have two weeks to unfuck the offense and get the defense healthy, because I can guarantee the defense is gonna have to have another "game of their lives" in the Super Bowl.

Congrats to your team, Smooth. Good luck in SB 50.
Thanks mate. It feels surreal being back. It actually hasn't even really hit me yet. I'm still de-stressing from this game, the fact that the Broncos are back to the Super Bowl hasn't quite caught up with me yet.

Easy it was not! Honest to god, if the Pats had converted and the game went to overtime, I was turning it off! I could not go through the stress of overtime. There was no way in hell I was going to be able to watch it.

And I concur, suck it Patriots!

Honestly, I'm hoping for Cardinals. I think Denver's defense would match up much better against Arizona than against Carolina. Trying to stop Cam Newton, plus stop their run and passing game on top of containing his fast ass, would be a true bitch for this defense. The Cardinals seem like a much better opponent for this defense to shut down.

And the NFL has to be loving their XP rules after that early miss. Had a big impact.
That is one thing that is a guarantee, being able to see my raw emotions and reactions during a game. I don't filter my reactions, I truly live in the ups and downs of the moment of each play of the game.

And I too and praising Jobu for the NFL making the change to the XP rules. That beautiful rule saved this game from going into OT.

After this 1st qtr. in Carolina, Denver should be nervous.

Exactly the reason I said I'd rather face Arizona. Carolina is going to be an absolute bitch to stop on defense. And with a useless offense, the defense would about have to singlehandedly win the game like they did today, which isn't going to be possible against Carolina's offense.

Honest to god, I absolutely can see a Denver-Carolina Super Bowl being a repeat of the Denver-Seattle bitchslapping from a couple years ago.

Smooth, I knew the Broncos could win. Just needed defense to show up and Peyton be solid.

Stopped watching the 2nd game at 17-0...but man Panthers looked good.

Watch Brady still win MVP award

I will give Peyton credit there. He had no turnovers and played pretty well. They could have used a little better from him as some of those quick 3 and out drives really needed to either be lengthened or even turned into an extra touchdown or field goal.

I am glad Denver has such an amazing defense though. If they didn't have that massive a defensive performance tonight, New England probably wins by 30 based on how ineffective the offense was.

As long as the same defense shows up, and the offense gets themselves sorted out, they have a chance in the Super Bowl. Obviously, as I previously mentioned, I like their chances better against Arizona than I do Carolina, but with a perfect game, they could get the job done against Carolina.

As for the Panthers, yeah, that team is just scary good. There is a reason they ended up going 15-1 in the regular season, they have the talent to back that record up, unlike some past teams who went 15-1 in the regular season, only to lose in the Divisional Round or something.

I stopped watching at 17-0 too, but that's just because the Royal Rumble is starting right now. Arizona better get themselves figured out fast or it could get seriously ugly.

I'm going to have to leave the TV off for 2 weeks if Carolina wins. Two weeks of watching Scam Fucking Newton tell everybody how great he is and what a good guy he is (when anyone who can read through bullshit can see that he is a major asshole with a massive ego and an extreme sense of entitlement) will be insufferable.

Tell you what not sure any one picked Carolina to be this way this season after losing their #1 WR early on. Hell even with him.

Pretty wild and cool to see a team with sub par Offensive personnel succeed like this

Also cool to see 2 teams with stellar Defenses going to the SB...I won't say the cliche saying but....

    Go Broncos!

Good news is even if Scam wins - at least it's not the Cheatriots.

I want to see Denver win and Manning hoist one more Lombardi. Can he do it? Based on Denver's D, yes he can. However, it's clear Manning's arm is dead. Manning will not be able to win the game. The team will have to step up and win it for him. Go Broncos!

wrong JB, I am 6-4 in the three weeks of playoffs. I can change a pick before a game starts. I'm not sure how that confuses you?

I made that pick on the 16th.
Denver is winning this with no doubt.
    .

this is exactly like 97/98 Broncos v Falcons.

The Panthers are still surprising people. Mike Shula has done a great job with that rag tag group on offence.

Read that Brady got hit 23 times. Previous high this year was 12. The pressure really got to him.

    Good luck with that pick.

THAT Bronco team was favored. Not this one.

The Pats were favored vs Giants both times
    SF was favored vs Ravens
Broncos were favored vs Seattle, if I'm not mistaken?

it has nothing to do with who is favored or how many stats you crunch.

For the Steeler fans in here. Mean Joe and the kid are reunited. My second favorite Super Bowl commercial. Where's The Beef? will always be number one.
