Just saw the good dinosaur with my son , what a great great family movie. I even shed a few tears , as these new Disney movies have entered the realm of bringing adult topics as life and death in their films

highly recommend this one. The art work was specatcular as usual and the story was top notch

cant wait for finding Dorrie which will be finding nemo 2 .

i know I'm pushing 50 but it brought me to cry a few seasons. Glad it was in the dark and no one saw me

I heard bad reviews on the Good Dinosaur, so it's good to hear a non-reviewer say they liked it. All the previews I saw made me want to see it.

    Welcome to the site!

Yeah, I heard it was the 1st real Pixar bomb but the regular people who have seen it really liked it.

Inside Out caused me to shed tears. I'm getting softer in my old age.

I really liked the new Star Wars movie. The two new main characters were fantastic. Having a great connection to the characters makes the movie so much better. It had a good amount of humour too.

    Spoiler: show
I don't think Rey (girl) is related to the previous characters and I kind of hope she isn't. Reusing old story lines like Luke and Annikan being abandoned and not knowing their parents gets old. It was cool with the bad guy being Solos kid.

My biggest annoyance with the film was another death star narrative. Seriously? You did that in episode 4 and then reused it in Jedi which was a bit annoying. Now another one? I will be extremely pissed if the next one has yet another death ray that destroys planets. Seriously come up with a fresh idea!

Carrie Fisher has not aged well. She's listed as 59. She must smoke 5 packs a day since she looked 15 years older.

Getting to watch a good bit of movies lately with this thing

Watched the Good Dinosaur Sunday night, then Inside Out lastnight.

The Good Dinosaur was a good movie, we really enjoyed it.

Really liked Inside Out as well

Man who you telling!?, I was misty eyed on both of the movies lol. During the movie I'm telling my wife this is some depressing and emotional stuff.

Going to watch the Peanuts Movie and a few others. Can watch movies every day.

Maze Runner was pretty good. Scorch Trials, not so much. It was hard to get invested.

We have watched the 1st one, haven't had a chance to check out Scorch Trials. I'm into movies like this so hoping I like it. Enjoyed the first one, though I personally wanted to punch the guy who played Gally. That guy has a punchable face

I dunno what it was. Just wasn't invested in the overall story that is tied around the series. And I'm usually pretty easy to please when it comes to movies. Hunger Games blew this out of the water so far. I'll still watch the finale when it's out though.

I've never seen a Hunger Games movie and likely will not. I've gotten the Twilight type movie vibe from it I guess from all the hysteria surrounding it, which has kept me away.

Believe it does fall into the category of type movies that interest me...i.e Maze Runner, The Island, Cube, etc.

I thought the EXACT same thing with the Twilight vibe til I finally watched the first one and it was nothing like that crap. Yes, I saw Twilight this chick's house I was crashing at after a night of drinking and even drunk the movie was terrible.

Hunger Games is good. I don't know anything about Twilight but I can vouch for Hunger Games.

So, is it safe to watch Star Wars now? Has the hype died down so I can watch it without being around 200 other people? For me, when it comes to seeing a movie in the theater, the fewer the people at the screening, the better.

My wife & I went Tuesday night ($5 night). The theater was still pretty well full by the time previews started but we were 15 min early and didn't have any terrible picking a good seat.

The first Hunger Games movie was good. You can pass on the rest imo.

Saw the Revenant and I liked it. But it's also long and slow at times and won't be for everyone. Tom Hardy is hard to understand in the movie and can be frustrating. The last half hour let me down though and I'd drop my rating to 7/10.

    Spoiler: show
They send out a large search party at night with torches on horseback to find Leo but two days later they only send out two guys to hunt down a murderer and thief who stole the money? Give me a break. All done to set up a final one on one fight with Leo and Hardy. That made zero sense to me. At that point I just wanted the movie to end unlike the director who wanted to drag it out.
