I still plan on being a disc copy guy. I do clean up some games but 500 GB is a bit tight. After star wars I only had 27 gb free until I deleted the Show and one other game. Have 80 gb now but with possibly assassins creed Syndicate, witcher 3 and other games this Christmas it could get tight again. With me and two kids playing a variety of games I still think 1 TB should be good. Would cost me an extra $50 to jump to 2 TB and I don't want to spend a lot.

Semi related note, anyone had the auto eject issue happen?

Guess 2 or so weeks ago, while I was watching TV PS4 just turned on by itself (from off mode) and ejects disc out. It kept trying there for a few minutes before I turned the system off. Power cycled it for 30 minutes and didn't have an issue until the other night. Apparently it turned itself on overnight and kept trying to eject a disc all night!

Found the issue online and going to try the screw tightening fix I think I found, but none of the fixes I've read seem to hold.

In regards to storage I probably have 400 GB free still lol

This is the one I bought on Amazon. After reading many reviews I went w/ the 2TB. It was a breeze to install and my PS4 has been working like a champ! I would highly recommend this one:

EDIT: on my "side note" I would like Xbox1 and PS4 to get together. The battery life on the Xbox1 controller is freaking amazing!

For example: I will play Battlefield 4 on PS4 with a freshly charged controller. I have a WIRED usb headset that connects to my PS4, not connected to the controller. My PS4 controller will last around 6 hours.

I play the same game BF4 on Xbox1 with a Turtlebeach XO Four headset that plugs directly into the Xbox1 wireless controller. I started with a full charge. Played the last 2 nights for atleast 5 hours each time, total of 10 hours and my battery level is still 75% or higher. Who knows, maybe I'll get some sort of cancer holding the Xbox1 controller whatever they put in that battery pack it's STRONG!

Yeah, ps4 controllers are max 6 hours.

And that 2TB drive is exactly what I'm looking at over in Canada (our dollar is much weaker). It's on sale at $115 with coupon or I go with the simple 1 TB option for a faster drive that also gets good reason views. That one is C$70 before tax over here at Newegg. The price difference is the cost of a game almost so I'm not sure.

Personally, with children who play, I'd buy the one that made it unlikely that i'd ever have to worry about it again. It would be a bad investment if you bought a 1TB and then had to start thinking about deleting games in a year or 2.

I have thought about that. With 2 TB I'd never think twice.

Woo Hoo Pro Bowling hits the PS4 this week (Brunswick). The one screenshot does make it look tempting.

Got 2tb for the xbox one. It works out to 1.8tb after installation. The thing is though some of these games now are in the 40-50gb range. 1tb is going to fill up sooner than later.

I went cheap. I got a 1 TB drive for about $85 Canadian after tax and shipping. The 2 TB would have been another $50. Just didn't want to commit more than that with Christmas coming. I think I will be fine even if it means cleaning up older games here and there. Made it two years with 500 GB which is really just over 400 GB in space so going from 400+ GB to 900 GB should work.

Could not believe how easy it was to swap out the hard drive and everything. I downloaded the firmware and also used the backup feature to back up my stuff. But I had read I still had to back up all the other user sales on to a USB key so I had manually saved all the kids games along with my own just to be safe. Well they were ALL on the backup when I restored it! I wish I would have known that as it would have been even easier. Maybe they improved that aspect with one of the latest updates. Hopefully I have no troubles but it's the same drive as my old one - just bigger and slightly faster at 7200 rpm. Great reviews for PS4 guys.

I have a DS4 with a wonky left analog stick. Basically if you move the stick towards 3 o'clock the actual on-screen movement is to 5 o'clock.

I take good care of my stuff. My controllers are in no way abused.

With that said, the sticker on the underside is worn and unreadable so the serial numbers can't be read.

I've thought about calling Sony but without a serial number or receipt I'm guessing they won't help me. I've also thought about buying a new controller at Walmart, cleaning the broken one up, moving the sticker from the new one to the old one and returning the old one for a refund.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Advise? Experience?

    Thanks.

I've had to remove the springs out of the triggers for both my controllers, luckily I have not had issues with either analog sticks on either controller.

If it was me I'd try to buy one then remove the sticker and return to Walmart. They take anything back. Heck I just took back a bag of lettuce because the shit looked terrible 2 days after purchase and they replaced it

Fuck Walmart, sucks the area we live in or society has driven us to these huge non caring giants. I'll return a damn battery if given the chance, matter of fact I'm not sure why I haven't tried that one yet. LMAO

I have another controller with an X button that sticks so 2 of my 3 controllers for my main PS4 are unusable right now.

I think I'm going to run this scam twice, once at each of the 2 Walmarts within 10 minutes of me.

I doubt Sony will help (and if they do it will probably take a month or more) and ultimately through Walmart the problem lands back in Sony's lap where it belongs.

My only issue will be the wear on the pads on the analog sticks but I doubt, as snoop said, that Walmart Employee will give 2 shits.

I have generally been dissapointed by the PS4 controllers. Cheap quality IMO as compared to the XboxOne. I need to buy two new PS4 controllers this Christmas season.

Would be sweet if there is a career mode or something.

But I'm not going to pay $50 for it.... http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...:70937436:TRUS

I've heard of someone returning tires to Wal-Mart before.....tires they drove on for a significant period of time. Due to their return policy, they had to take them.
