Sorry I have been absent the last week gentlemen. I had surgery last Friday and have been in bed recovering all this week. Never had surgery before but pain and meds combo sure put you on your butt. I'm now at about 20% mobility from pre-surgrery. Recovery is long but I will be 100% in 7-8 weeks.

I have to say that the nurses are incredible! I didn't have a negative experience at all. Overall I give very high marks for the Healthcare I was provided (and the system).

Glad to see the surgery went well.

Protip: Send chocolates or some kind of food basket to the nurses station as a thank you for their care. It will make their day.

Glad you are ok! Depending what it was,no matter what the surgery,100% usually doesn't happen till 3 to 6 months to a year.
They always make it sound quaint when they aren't the ones on the table.
There's no such thing as minor surgery when it's you under the knife

Product recommendation for the lazy cooks out there. I love pasta but hate having to use the oven, get it to boil, add the pasta and hope it does not boil over and the cleanup after. So I found a really great alternative.

    Fasta Pasta.

    http://www.amazon.com/Microwave-Past.../dp/B000YT2XOI

It is not really faster. 4 servings of spaghetti takes around 15 minutes to nuke but tastes every bit as good. Cleanup is a snap, not pots and strainers to deal with. Just sit back and wait for the pasta to cook, does not boil over if you follow some simple instructions.

Oh fuck, I love this time of year! Mayoral election time in Toledo! If you haven't heard of Opal Covey yet (which you may have as some national shows have even been talking about her and have even had her on for interviews), then you are in for a treat!

    I think I found Ram's mother.

Yikes. So apparently Jamie Farr was actually playing it straight. Must be the water.

Toledo was destroyed years ago. She's a little late. God had nothing to do with it.
