Nebraska holds on to defeat Southern Miss 36-28. Thank goodness USM went too conservative in the first half or they would have gotten another upset win in Lincoln.


- Texas Tech leading #3 TCU 28-26 late first half.

- Duke beats GA Tech 34-20. I thought the Yellow Jackets were supposed to be good this year.

- Michigan routs BYU. I didn't think the Cougars were all that great seeing them in Lincoln to start the year and it looks like three straight weeks of close games took its toll on them.

- If he stays healthy, it looks like the Heisman is Fournette's (LSU) to lose.
