I bought some months ago with my 2nd controller that I've yet to open. Haven't opened them yet either. Figured I'd play COD more than i have and would use them then, but never got around to it.Originally Posted by cdj

I have them on all 5 of my controllers as a precaution since I had 1 that started to go South. I don't remember the brand I got but they were the only ones that Gamestop had.
They were sort of expensive compared to what I have seen on the Web but I didn't want to wait for shipping so I bought them anyway.
They have been ok (a couple have come loose but I had extras since they were sold in multiples). They feel nice and do improve grip.

Thanks, guys. It seemed like almost overnight they started to wear away. A very high quality product!It's probably been pitting/chipping for a while but took until today to really notice.
Don't feel too bad CDJ. My thumb grips were destroyed after two months. I picked up BIOGENIC thumb grips from EB Games (Canadian version of GameStop). Is it just me or did anyone else get $10 from Sony on their PS4?
I didn't really pay attention to the message when I signed onto my PS4 the other night (prior to that hadn't played it for a week or so). Added the code to my PSN wallet though

I saw they were reimbursing some people for a price drop in pre-orders. Could that be it?

They ran a deal somewhat recently saying you got X back if you spent Y in the PS Store. Perhaps that was it?
Nope haven't purchased anything in past year or more.
Last thing I downloaded was the free uniform pack I believe for NCAA. Or the free games with Plus. Those say they were "purchased" according to the email I receive confirming them.
Put those on my 2 newer controllers. The original one has the right thumb stick grip peeling off

Wait - so we can back up our files now on PS4 with external HDD? I assume this means we cannot use an external HDD as the main drive though?
Correct. Just like the PS3, you can back up and restore from an external HDD now, but you cannot use it to play games off of an external like the XB1 yet.
