Chelsea secured a domestic treble on Saturday at Wembley Stadium, winning the 8th FA Cup in club history with a 1-0 result over South London rivals Crystal Palace. The Blues are FA Cup winners for the first time since getting a 2-1 result over Liverpool in the 2012 Final and add the illustrious silverware to the Capital One Cup and Premier League title they have already captured this season. The West Londoners will play for an unprecedented quadruple on Saturday May 28th when they face Spanish giants Barcelona in the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea's victory did come at a high cost, however. Marco Reus (Femur Contusion) and Diego Costa (Sprained Ankle) were both lost to first half injuries. Boss Jose Mourinho is hopeful that the duo can make a return for the Champions League Final but has ruled each out for next weekend's Premier League finale. On a bright note, Mourinho added that Ramires (Sprained Knee) and Eden Hazard (Broken Ankle) have returned to training and that each of them could not be ruled out of featuring later this month against Barcelona.

Chelsea (27-6-4) will go through the motions one more time on Sunday, before being presented with the Premier League trophy. The Blues will host 18th-placed Leicester City (5-13-19). The The Foxes are 3 points from safety and are -6 on goal difference to 17th-placed West Ham, making Leicester an all-but-certain candidate for relegation with Cardiff City and Norwich City.

Swansea City (winners of The Football League Championship) and Crystal Palace (2nd in the League Championship) have attained promotion to the Premier League for 2016-17. They will be joined by the winners of the Promotion Playoff which features Burnley, Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic.

In the Premier League, Chelsea, Spurs and Manchester City have secured Champions League spots for next season, with the final spot up for grabs between Liverpool (64 points) and Southampton (62 points). Everton, Manchester United and Arsenal each have a chance to secure a Europa League spot, pending this weekend's results. Southampton visit Aston Villa, while Liverpool visit Watford on Championship Sunday.
