I don't even understand what this means? Are you trying to draw some correlation to the NCAA title game? Are you trying to make a point that the potential SB teams name start with P and the that's planned because the title game participants names rhymed as evidence of it happening? The last time I checked I don't know too many OSU fans that call themselves the Bucks. Smooth you might have some insight and I'm sure JHC would but have you ever referred to the Buckeyes as the Bucks?

I lived in Ohio in the 80s. I never heard "Bucks".

I certainly never have. Myself, and everyone I have ever known, all call them the Buckeyes. They either get referred to as Buckeyes, Ohio State or OSU in conversation I've been involved in, never Bucks.

What is all this 10 games stuff? He played 3 games.

Also, wrong thread to discuss this.
how much hand holding do you need ? you have a college degree ? he has stats for 10 games. But you are right. You answered your own question and still don't get it. I am being redundant..but again...he didn't play enough to be believable as an NC champion in any way.

Based on those stats in the final three games (the games he was a starter from the very first snap, instead of being a second string QB playing garbage time in blowouts), I'd say yes, yes he did.

And it is not all the QB you dense moron. Look at Ohio State as an entire team. That is one serious fucking talented team. Christ, Ohio State would have never won all those games on Jones' shoulders alone. It was Ezekiel Elliott running the ball like a fucking wrecking ball and racking up 200+ yards three straight games that put Ohio State over the top. But just conveniently ignore Elliott, just conveniently ignore Ohio State's wide receivers and damn good offensive line (that gave Jones all sorts of time to make good throws), just conveniently ignore Ohio State's incredible defense. Yep, Cardale Jones single handedly won all those games for Ohio State.

And where's all the pictures of Jameis Winston's stats? You don't believe Jones could step in and over a three game stretch lead Ohio State to a national championship, but you expect Winston, as a true freshman, to just step on the field and go 25-27 (92.6% completion rate!) for 356 yards and four touchdowns in his very first college game?

You expect Winston, as true freshman, to just steam roll every single team he faced the entire season (the closest game the entire season was a 48-34 win over Boston College, everything else ended up being 40+ to 17-) and just crab leg his way to a national championship in his first 14 games as a college QB?

All of THAT doesn't get questioned, but a clearly talented freshman QB taking the reigns for the final three games of the season on an absolutely loaded Ohio State team, THAT is proof that everything is rigged? Get the fuck out of here.

Not even a freshman QB, Smooth. A redshirt sophomore which means it's his 3rd year in the system.

Whoops, I forgot he was a redshirt.

But then it would have been only his second year in the system, a redshirt freshman, that he led Florida State to a national title. Still, his first game on the field, and he puts up those stats? And leads Florida State on a steamroll past every opponent to the national title? And I'm expected to believe that Jones, after spending all season as the backup quarterback, putting in serious practice time in the Ohio State system, that he doesn't have the talent and skills and can't QB Ohio State to a national title as a three-game starter?

Or is this an issue of Ram thinking he couldn't do it because of his skin color? I mean, after all, according to Ram, no way Marshawn Lynch could have gotten into Cal on his own merits.

And I'm still waiting for Ram to post factual physical evidence that Winston and Jones never go to class. He posted that Winston never attended a single class at Florida State, I would like to see those class records posted then if Ram knows for a fact.

And now Ram is claiming that Cardale Jones never goes to class.

Well, provide the evidence Ram. You don't even claim that he never goes to class, you straight up STATE that he never goes to class. So show us this evidence that proves that he never goes to class.

No, I was referring to Winston. But even then, he was still a redshirt as well. I thought he was a true freshman, but actually a redshirt freshman.

Although I did refer to Jones at the very end, calling him a clearly talented freshman. So in that case he would be a clearly talented third year sophomore. He's been in the Ohio State program since January 2012, so it's not like he just showed up on campus in the summer and became Super QB. He's been working and practicing in the system for three years now. When you spend three years in the Ohio State system, yes, you will be able to just step in and quarterback a team through three straight wins.

And wasn't one of Ram's claims everything is fixed being about Vegas and the bookies making profit along with the NFL? Games always being decided in which way profits Vegas the most?

    WHOOPS!

    http://espn.go.com/chalk/story/_/id/...state-buckeyes

The game is being bet much like a Super Bowl, the books said, with bettors laying the points with the favored Ducks and backing the underdog Buckeyes on the money line. The best-case scenario for the books is for Oregon to win but not cover the spread.

Alright, so lets play a game. What will Ram's excuse be this week?!

If Seattle wins: The drooling masses get to keep chanting defense wins championships, a small market team goes back to the Super Bowl = parity!!11!, Rodgers faked his calf injury all week to explain his poor performance, Seattle will still fade to obscurity for the next 30 years but was just a year early.

If Green Bay wins, it's because the NFL wants to drive up those ratings against the Patriots, plus being a small market team the drooling masses can still shout parity.

If New England wins, it's because the NFL wants to drive up those ratings against the Packers, the NFL wants to keep the drooling masses excited with "DYNASTY!" chatter about the Patriots, big market team equals big market ratings and big market drooling masses happy. Also because the sudden rape charges filed against Colts backup linebacker Josh McNary will distract the Colts all week.

If Indianapolis wins, it's because the NFL wants to keep the drooling masses entertained as the grasshopper (Luck) overtakes the master (Manning) and sends the Colts to a Super Bowl and the hearts of Colts fans. It'll also be because of "PARITY!!!11!!!!" and keeping the drooling masses entertained with the underdog Colts knocking off the Broncos and Patriots on their way to a Super Bowl. And naturally it'll be to calm the masses in Ferguson, Missouri.

Anything else anyone would like to add?

Yep. Way back on like page 1 of this thread I told ram that I could come up with a good story about ANY team in the league winning the Super Bowl this year. That was in the preseason.

    Of course, he ignored it.

The truth is this. There would be a great story no matter who wins but ram thinks that the tail wags the dog and that the great story comes before the team wins.

You two must be on crack. I know you've both heard the chant "Let's Go Bucks". It's in NCAA, for goodness sake!

Hell, if either of your read my Twitter account you would have seen it all day on Monday

I'm not backing Ram here (and this was several years ago), but I feel this is an obligatory response.

I must hang with the wrong friends then.

And there we go! I was waiting for Ram to post that.

Yes, it was a stupid tweet by a kid who was spending the season as a redshirt that year, so basically doing nothing but practicing, watching every game and going to class. I can't blame him for ranting a little in that situation. But it doesn't prove that he, as Ram claims as fact, " never" goes to class.
