Before you order it... don't you have an elgato? If so, it can take composite/component as an input and then that would convert it to HDMI.
It'd be a pain to switch back and forth with all the wires. It's not something I'm looking to get right away. Just was looking at options because the RetroN 5 has HDMI out but getting terrible reviews due to quality of build.

Agree 100%. I have only pre-ordered Madden 15 and SimCity in the last two years. I got burnt big-time on SimCity. Madden was fine but regardless I am done with pre-orders.
Not only do I not preorder, I don't even get games Day 1 now. I'll make an exception for Mass Effect 4 but for the most part, I get games either from eBay or wait for a sale.
SimCity has to be my biggest bust for a game that I have bought ever.........
Got burned on that one too. The biggest burn on that one is you cannot return it at all.
I used to pre-order everything on Amazon with the $10 - $20 off. However, that has stopped and the free pre order bonus dlc just isn't worth the risk of getting burned. So, I'm not pre-ordering anything anymore - which sucks for Amazon because that means I'll be buying from Gamestop (or some other brick and mortar retailer).
Not only have I stopped pre-ordering (with one exception), I may not even be buying games much longer ... I have quite a backlog as it is, and the only game I play right now is NCAA.

Except for the NCAA part, I agree. I still have 11+ games on 360 to play through, plus a few games on Xb1 to play through.......so I don't bother pre-ordering anymore. I just buy months later when the games are much, much cheaper and I eventually get to them.
I don't get to play NCAA nearly as much as I'd like to.
I will start pre-ordering when the day

Only pre-orders I do these days are digital downloads so that I can pre-download them and that's only after I've researched them to know I want to play them.
Yeah the only games I preorder now a days are RPG's that I know I will play and get a shit load of time with.
Most story driven games, I just wait for Gamefly to reduce them to $15-$20.

Sounds like me. If I want a game I'll pre-order so that I can pre-download. I don't buy nearly as many games as most of TGT does though.

Supposedly , M$ got the rights remaster Battle toads. Not sure which classic game they will remake but I hope ti's the first from the nes days. I still haven't ever beat that game. I always get stuck on that speeder / jet ski bike level.
