Chelsea kept a third consecutive clean sheet on Saturday at the KC Stadium, earning maximum points in a 2-0 win over Hull City. With the points, Chelsea have jumped Manchester City to claim the top spot in the league table after 23 match days.
Chelsea will travel north to Old Trafford on Wednesday night and will face Manchester United in the second leg of their Capital One Cup semi final tie with the Red Devils. The sides played to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in the first leg, two weeks ago. The winner will advance to the Final to play Tottenham Hotspur who eliminated Ipswich Town on aggregate, 6-0, on Tuesday.
