Would be interesting to debut a new look on the road. As you illustrate, however, the Twitter back-and-forth would seem to suggest as much.
The helmet really doesn't do anything for me, personally. The hurricane flag stripe could've been cool, but it looks bizarre not going all the way down the back of the helmet. The "Tulsa" wordmark on the sides of the helmet is horribly plain as well. Looks like it's trying to be a throwback design, but I haven't found anything to suggest that the team has worn anything like it in its history.

I'll be, they indeed bust out the helmets on the road. Are those jerseys and pants currently in 13? I can't remember if they were already present or not, and can't check since I'm at work. If they're not, looks like I might be buying a second uniform pack in a couple weeks.
Since they are going through all of this trouble to make sure they get all or most of these uniforms in game, they need to realize and do something that is very simple a day 1. Something that should have been done a long time ago. GIVE US ALTERNATE TEAM COLORS!!!
Meanwhile, I was also trying to prepare a list of helmets styles and brands needed. NCAA 13 is missing a lot compared to Madden. If NCAA just had the ones from Madden, it would be more than enough.
Also, Adidas is spitting out all these new flashy unis. EA needs to sharpen up the cleat styles for Adidas teams. The Adidas cleats are worse than the generic ones for UTSA for example. If you only get one style, at least make them cool looking. The Nike ones are the best Nike styled cleats, but they arent the worse either. The Under Armour ones look real good.
