I sent everyone a friend request on Steam. It's the same username I have on here.
I noticed mors liked Terraria and The Binding of Isaac, both of which I've been contemplating getting for the past few weeks. May have to pull the trigger on both of those. I feel like I've been missing out on PC gaming. I can't believe I never tried to get into until now.
Both are AMAZING games. Terraria is SUPER fun with people but can be quite enjoyable for a good 10-20 hours by yourself.
As for The Binging of Isaac, it was my personal game of the year last year. It's a phenomenal game but it definitely has a steep learning curve now that they've released the DLC stuff. I would recommend, if you do plan on playing it, only buy the original game and decide whether or not you like it first because the DLC ramps up the difficulty quite a bit.
Also, you most definitely have been missing out on PC gaming. There are some definite gems that are on the PC and no where else (Terraria, The Binding of Isaac, VVVVVV, Dungeon Defenders, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Cave Story+, the Bit Trip series, Hard Reset, Legend of Grimrock, and Wizorb just to name several).

Bought The Political Machine 2012. Call me stupid, but I think it looks fun as hell.![]()
I played through once and got my ass kicked so I'm going to have to pay attention a little more to what I'm doing. Definitely fun, though. Some of the character faces are hysterical.
Bought it along with two of the indie bundles (3 and 9) that I didn't get a chance to buy during the steam sale. Damn you steam for making things so damn cheap...
Yeah, I bought it. I played through once, won with Ron Paul (that's right bitches!). I was pretty secure in the lead most of the game, then shit started plummeting over a cliff in the final 10-15 weeks, states all over started turning pink or blue as I lost my grip. Ended up winning with 291 electoral votes. God bless Ohio, Florida and Texas (as well as a stolen California).![]()
Yeah, Jamestown and Capsize are what caught my eyes. I think I'm going to get that bundle and then just buy The Binding of Isaac and Terraria. I was going to wait for a sale, but those 2 have had my interest since I first saw them. I also need to try the STALKER games. Those are right down my alley.
I've heard the STALKER games are amazing, but I've never actually played them.
BOI and Terraria are definitely worth the price of admission. Too bad you weren't interested in doing this during the Steam Sale. Both were on sale at one point for like a $1.50 or something a piece.
I tried to get into STALKER but I got impatient I think. It's definitely a very slow-paced game, similar to how DayZ is. It's great in concept but I just never knew whether what I was doing was correct or if I was missing out on some other aspect, or whatever. I was moving the story forward, but it's so open-world without any true direction, it's hard to not question yourself.
I think Indie Bundle X might be the best of the bunch.

Includes 5 items: All Zombies Must Die!, Beat Hazard, BIT.TRIP RUNNER, Eufloria, Machinarium
Beat Hazard alone is worth the $10 alone, especially if you like a lot of music and old school shooters like Galaga & Asteroids. Machinarium is a quirky puzzler that is pretty fun and BIT.TRIP RUNNER, while I've never played it, seems quite popular. All Zombies Must Die! looks like it could be pretty fun but other than the video I know nothing about it.
Good stuff on DayZ for Arma II

DayZ is awesome. Arma III is going to feature it as a game mode. DayZ is the type of stuff that you could write college thesises relating to human behavior and human interaction when the end of the world happens. It is definitely some interesting stuff.
I wish I had a rig that could run it![]()
