So does it only happen on consoles?

Theoretically... It's a freeze in the code of the game so I wouldn't think it would happen on the web.

So I've got to run to the store real quick but when I get back I'm going to put the OD back up, for the time being lets plan on recruiting/scouting on the web until we hear something further about the freeze issues on the console. I know g did a full season of recruiting on the web prior to release and had zero problems. Basically I just want to get this started.

Also, we are going to roll with Heisman sliders, I'm leaning towards using the game play slider edits by Dr Death and recruiting will be set to All-American. We are also going to create our own coaches. The only item still up for debate is if we are going to use coach adjustments in game so please give me your thoughts.

It's bad enough that both of you had issues on separate ODs... I'd say until they find the cause and potentially patch it, we run the risk of it happening.

FWIW, I didn't have any issues last night. I did notice it start to slow down at some point so I backed out, uploaded my changes at the time, and proceeded forward without a problem.

If anyone's really worried about it, you could just upload your changes between guys. I discovered last night that it looks like you can upload by simply going to the "Recruit Plan" screen (where you set CPU assistance) and then backing out of it. Don't need to change anything. It looked like it was uploading.

Working in a test offline OD recruiting/scouting with LSU....got to week 6 yesterday....LOVE the scouting feature....I like how I can use the scouting to figure out who to recruit for 1-2 spots out of 4-5 prospects.

Cool about the web, I have recruiting many seasons on the web prior to this version so I like the idea.

Coaching gameplans I dont mind them one bit.

OB, what rosters did you use? I noticed a position change on FSU between this OD and a test one I setup last night using TGT's (BigWY's) rosters.

I used a set that Escobar pointed me to, which had position changes and a few minor edits.

Ah, that explains it. I've noticed a couple rating and position changes, compared to the defaults.

So do I have to do my preseason stuff on the web or can I try it on the console first?
