Also, I will say this about the game, if you ever decide to make your own colony in the game, it's INCREDIBLY interesting the options you have available to you.

Sweet. I'll have to check it out.
While I'm waiting for UPS to drop off NCAA (fuckers put my package on the late route), plus because between finishing naming coaches, waiting for some sliders, and hoping to find out some info from EA about the fucked up pitches in dynasty mode, I'm not gonna be starting up my Tulsa dynasty for at least a week yet, I'm gonna jump back into Empire: Total War (haven't played since November 15, 2011) and whoop some 18th century European ass.
Well, nevermind. Got into Empire, started up a new game as Britain, and turns out none of the cities, towns and villages were appearing on the map. Their names and stuff were showing up, but the physical sight of the cities weren't. So I guess I'll try to get back into Shogun 2, try my imitation of Sun Tzu.
That's a weird bug.
Played about 3 hours of Endless Space last night. Needless to say, I dreamed about playing that game last night and almost woke up at 3am to play more (was already up having had to take a piss and was SEVERELY tempted to stay up to play it instead of going back to sleep).
It's pretty much exactly like Civilization, but with little things that DRASTICALLY change how everything works. I'm still in the "I don't have a fuckin' clue if I'm doing it right" phase, but I'm having a blast.
Valve released Steam Film Maker for public beta today....
Mac release isn't until August 24th apparently.![]()
Another 4 hours of Endless Space, and, it's so like Civilization it's not funny. My only issue is the CPU doesn't hesitate to attack you if you're just passing by with a scout. Pretty damn annoying.

I bought Terraria & the Wolfenstein bundle... been forever since I've played any of the three and I remember really enjoying Return to Castle Wolfenstein.
Are there any good RPG games in the Summer Sale that don't require a gigantic PC to run?
There's the action RPG Ys: Origin that's on sale ($11.99) that I most definitely plan on buying tomorrow when I get paid. It looks freakin' FANTASTIC:
Also, it's requirements are really low:
- Minimum:
- OS:XP
- Processor:Pentium III / 1 GHz
- Memory:1 GB RAM
- Graphics:64 MB VRAM, 3D accelerator compatible w/ DirectX 9.0c
- DirectX®:9.0c
- Hard Drive:2 GB HD space
- Sound:Compatible with DirectX 9.0c
- Recommended:
- OS:XP, Vista, 7, 64-bit compatible
- Processor:Pentium4 / 1.3 GHz or higher
- Memory:1 GB RAM
- Graphics:64 MB VRAM, 3D accelerator compatible w/ DirectX 9.0c
- DirectX®:9.0c
- Hard Drive:2 GB HD space
- Sound:Compatible with DirectX 9.0c
Also, don't hesitate to check out Cave Story+ either. It's less RPG and more Action Platformer, but it's SPECTACULAR as well.
Alright, I already wanted to buy Crusader Kings II, but was going to wait until I got paid. For 75% off, fuck yes, I'm buying that right now.
Thanks Mors. My rig should easily handle that.
They do need to work on their prices a little bit.Crusader Kings II vanilla is $9.99. All the DLC separately, with all of it individually either 75% off or 40% is $11.01 total, so $21 exact to buy the vanilla game and all DLC separately. The CKII Collection, which includes most but not all of the DLC is 40% off, and priced $29.99.
Someone didn't think that through too well.
