I know for sure the CPU runs the options the same way in the demo. Something even weirder that would happen - the QB would cut up and the RB would sometimes stop and run the opposite way, THEN the QB pitches it almost directly behind himself to the RB. Ends up in like a huge loss. It almost looks something like a reverse or trick play lol.
