Since we were talking about rent, saw this today in the Post.

By contrast, the renovated units sport granite countertops, restored wood floors and stainless steel appliances. They come with upscale price tags, too. A 400-square-foot studio can cost as much as $1,400 a month. One-bedrooms go for more than $1,800.

That shit is ridiculous.

There are places here that are in that range, but it's for 4 bedroom ginormous townhouses that are already furnished along with access to tennis courts, pools, etc.

By contrast, there are places that are in kinda poor neighborhoods that are fairly nice for $400-500 per month.
