let me say,..if theres any doubt,I like the game.
So any comments I make, no matter seemingly how negative they read..shouldnt be considered some hateful trolling thing.
I'm just getting some thought out.

I dont care about the blur effect thing. I dont know where it may help or hurt the game ?
team builder is part of sights to a degree, nothing was mentioned about that. A little bit of a negative to me.

crowd chants- the problem with this day and age is all the younger people growing up around computers is they think the virtual worlds are supposed to be/going to be as real as possible and if it doesnt happen as quickly as they want, theres a problem. The Chants are fine this year, they are what they are, the mear fact you can put the stuff in games that you do now is fascinating in and of itself and kids take it for granted..they say the chants are more real, they sound more muffled to me to the point you cant even understand what they are saying... I'll use the stupid phrase that "it is what it is "

the english language is fascinating. You can spend an hour saying nothing with lots of words LOL
.. I guess they assume there will be plenty of Best Buys by the time the game comes out ? I hope so

Heisman Challenge 3-pack, depending on what that is all about, it could be interesting, but I'd rather have the Pro Combats and the $20 credit. Finally Amazon getting some good treatment by the various game company bastards when it comes to pre-order bonuses.
The reasons I am picking it up at GameStop are because, A) Because I work there. Lol. B) I have a $25 gift card for the store, and C) Because I have $40 of in store credit to go towards it. I'll split my money between NCAA and Ghost Recon most likely.

Yep, I buy almost every game today from Amazon, as I have to drive over to the next town, resulting in about an hour or so long round trip in the end, to visit the nearest Gamestop. Amazon has release day shipping, so it will be there by release day. For me, depending on what route UPS puts my package on, it always arrives either during the 1pm hour or the 4pm hour on release day. Sure, it would be nice to have it the entire day to play, but I'm patient and don't mind waiting.

As for shipping, for regular Amazon users it's usually $1 release day shipping (though I have seen it be free for some games now and then) and if you're an Amazon Prime member, you can get release day shipping for free for any and every game.

Just for the sake of argument, how is teambuilder even possibly, remotely related to the sights category? Sights would be the LAST thing I would associate teambuilder with.

As for the chants, of course it's going to be "muffled". When was the last time you went to a college game in person? Could you hear the chant perfectly clear and crisp? Tens of thousands of people shouting a chant is going to make any and every chant "muffled" to a degree.

Lol, good reasons, I'll grant you that. I can't argue with any of those. Especially if you have gift cards or in store credit to use towards the game. For me, I don't think I have any in store credit and the hour long or so round trip drive just to get the game and get home isn't worth it enough to make the Gamestop trip to the next town over, so Amazon usually is the very first (and usually only) option for me when it comes to buying games. And unfortunately, Amazon tends to get screwed over and shafted a lot when it comes to pre-order bonuses.

Where did you see this!? If they have UMASS in the game, chances are they have the 3 other teams in the game, including (Where I attend school). I know for sure they will be in for next years game.

Edit: Nevermind, I see it now. I really hope they have the other teams in, now.

I've put out feelers to find out whether we can discuss what new teams would be included in the game. Likely won't hear back tonight but whenever I do I'll be sure to share.

Very much appreciated, sir. It will be interesting to see what new teams are added. Which leads me to think there might be some more new stadiums possibly.

I'm with everyone else. I don't think Teambuilder goes with the "these are the new graphics" theme of the day. It probably fits better in Gameplay or Dynasty.

Yeah, teambuilder can go with sight if you're using it to play dress up. To me, teambuilder is about creating teams to use in dynasties. Thus, it fits perfectly into the Dynasty webcast, and that's exactly where I have expected it to be mentioned all along since these webcasts were first announced.

just for the sake of advertisement..you can use teambuilder teams in play now online games as well..I hope they dont get rid of that next year too.. and its not about dress up, its about creating your own environment so to speak.

and with all the uniform changes in the NCAA,your wrong if you dont think the game is about dress up LOL
they did talk about including uniforms, so expecting a sentance or 2 about teambuilder shouldnt be so unheard of.

I understand where you're coming from with the uniform mentions in today's webcast and everything, but for the most part, when looking at everyone who plays NCAA in the entire country, teambuilder is, for the most part, a dynasty-related item, using TB to create FCS/D2/D3 teams, create fictional teams, etc and use them in dynasties. Thus why from day 1 I have figured and pegged TB to be included as part of the dynasty webcast, and thus why I'm not the least bit surprised there wasn't even so much as a single TB mention in today's webcast.

Ram, I get what you're saying, but when the NCAA team mentions "sights and sounds", they're almost 100% exclusively talking atmosphere. Teambuilder is a feature, no matter how many aspects of it are visual in nature. This makes more sense to those of us who have been to Orlando (and seen how the team divides things up mentally), but that's the best way I can explain it here. Sights & Sounds = atmosphere; crowd, presentation, commentary, visuals (i.e. uniforms), etc.

Justin, thanks. Though at first glance tonight, it appears to be starting a replay in mid-stream, rather than from a fixed point.

EDIT: Never mind, that's only if I use the original link. Saw your later post with the updated link. Thanks!

One thing I love seeing in the Audio Blog and the IGN article is the collaboration between Tiburon and EA Canada. I've been skeptical about how much the two studios collaborate in the past, and there's definitely a major contribution there this year. I don't know if it's new or not, but it's very welcome to me. Reusing resources (from other games/teams, that is) can only help the game.

Yeah, found it eventually in Dewiel's Page 6 post. http://www.ea.com/ncaa-football/1/pl...hts-and-sounds

And with DICE as they got the paratrooper models from Battlefield. That's pretty cool.
