    NO NO NO

    Do NOT drop Matt Moore.

Drafted him as my 2nd pitcher in my CBS league that we started by text.

Some think he could be in contention for the Cy Young, if not Rookie of the Year.

I'd go Adrian Gonzalez if I was you.

Well he needs to stay healthy for that to happen

Okay I'm going to spell out my options for the #7 pick based on 3 draft sheets. Let's see what looks the best on paper:

    Player Yahoo ESPN CBSSports Average
    Jacoby Ellsbury 12 8 9 9.7
    Troy Tulowitzki 4 6 8 6
    Adrian Gonzalez 9 13 13 11.7
    Robinson Cano 8 7 16 10.3

Based on the limited depth at SS and 2B, I think I will go Tulo, Cano, but if both are gone I'll go Ellsbury because I can probably snag Pedroia in round two. There is some good depth at 1B this year, so I am probably going to pass on Gonzalez, plus he's a keeper in my CBS points league.

Also depends on how your scoring works in the league. Like mine we took out RBI

I'll put out my full draft list after the commish posts it on Yahoo.

Or you can go to my new Twitter project @FBaseKnocks, and I've posted it there too. I'm trying out a new fantasy baseball twitter account, and if it goes well, maybe a website in the future, since I had the itch to apply last year to CBS to write for Fantasy Baseball and sorta got my foot in the door

Tonight's draft was an odd one. I didn't take a SS til the final round (22nd), starting in round 13, set-up men were being taken (holds is a category in our 7x7 league), and I took a flier back to back on Strasburg (6th) and Darvish (7th).

Just heard that Carpenter had another set back. So he may not be the most reliable this year. At least not right away.

I also really want to go pick up Aroldis Chapman but I don't have room on my roster. I think he'll be starting after the break.

Here are some guys in my biggest money league that I did not draft with their overall Yahoo ranking on the season:

    Austin Jackson - 19
    Fernando Rodney - 21
    Bryan LaHair - 31
    Adam Dunn - 37

Overall the team has hit a shitty spot with batting, so I'm near the bottom of the standings in this league; however, that was because of guys like Bautista and Zobrist who are now starting to heat up.

So did I. They could have done us fantasy owners a solid and placed him in the DL on Sunday

after 3-4 years of taking it up the rear in this league, I think I've built a nice 12-team dynasty league squad -
