Use this thread to schedule your matches with your opponents and to post Game Reports to let everyone know the results.

Here is the schedule for Match Day 7:

Remember, the home team is listed on the LEFT (Monterrey, Atletico, Chicago, Spurs).


The games should be played using Online Friendlies in the Online Menu of FIFA 12. Be sure to use 10-minute halves, and Online rosters (VERY IMPORTANT). The game speed should be set to normal. The home team has to send the invite (do so by selecting your opponent from the Online Friendlies Menu). You need to be sure that the user you are trying to invite is on your friends list on the PSN before trying to set the game up. Players are free to set their formations and lineups as they see fit (though you only get 40 seconds to do so before kickoff).

I've been playing these silly video games for years. I always get into a NCAA league, I always get a shitty team and everyone else has a great team, for 5+ years now all I ever hear is, well you're new, just take your lumps and one day you'll get a good team....well I'm tried of this shit.

Sorry for the ranting and raving, I just wish we could use even teams, put the entire thing on manual controls and then it would atleast be an even playing field. I'm sure he would still beat me but I would alteast be beaten by his skills and not my slow as team. Every time I got a break away his guys would catch me from behind. Each time he had a break away he was GONE. The overall team speed is a JOKE.

I spend a lot of time organizing this league, making schedules, posting Match Days, updating standings etc. It takes a hell of a lot more work than hitting "Advance" as the Commissioner of an OD. Nice to know it's appreciated.

You and Escobar both have 3.5 star teams.

Let me clarify a few things.

If we used "even teams", tbautist would beat you 20-0. You and Escobar HAVE "even teams".

You are, I believe, the ONLY one who wants Manual Controls. Go online, play some Online Seasons games, choose "Manual Controls Only", and get back to me. Heck, pick a 5* team too. If anyone else wants Manual Controls, I am more than willing to go with the majority. The bottom line is: you need to get better. I mean no disrespect by saying that, but that is the case. You lost 8-0 to a team that is EQUAL to yours.

That said, think about what you want to do. I hope you'll finish the season, but I have someone to replace you if you don't. I'd like to see you continue in Season 3, but not with this attitude.

For the record, I think beating someone 8-0 is bullshit. Personally I'd lay off the gas at 3-0, but I can't mandate how others play the game or view sportsmanship.

Gus sometimes we lose games. It happens, I remember not so long ago we had this same discussion in SBCOL.

We don't know all the facts of the 8-0 game I know when Gus gave up against me he was basically giving me points, well actually he did give me points in NCAA. Like to hear Escobar's side of things.

I remember your SBCOL incident, snoop. Gus was punting on first down and intentionally taking safeties.

I also remember Gus quitting another OD (TGT maybe?) when JB beat him like 50-0.

And, I remember him quitting TGA after like 1 week.

I agree about Escobar's side of things, and I don't fault him. He is entitled to beat anyone as badly as he wants. But I don't see a bunch of Own Goals listed, therefore I have to believe Escobar was shooting after Gus gave up. That's something that I , personally, would not do. I would play keep away and run the clock out. Again though, I don't fault Escobar. There is a good chance he will end up in a tie-breaking scenario and that 8-0 win will be the difference.

What Gus has, thus far, failed to understand is that he and Escobar both have 3.5 star teams and that if he played Season 3 he would get a better team (possibly the best team at this rate) based on his Season 2 performance.

I have done my best to ensure that guys who struggle one season get a boost the next. Look at JB and ryby. Last season JB got hammered alot. He didn't complain. This season he is headed toward advancing past the Group Stage as he has the best team. Ryby was in the Final last Season, got a lesser team, and has just 1 point so far in Season 2 - without complaining.
