    http://www.carolinajournal.com/exclu...a-nuggets.html

A preschooler at West Hoke Elementary School ate three chicken nuggets for lunch Jan. 30 because a state employee told her the lunch her mother packed was not nutritious.

The girl's turkey and cheese sandwich, banana, potato chips, and apple juice did not meet U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines, according to the interpretation of the agent who was inspecting all lunch boxes in her More at Four classroom that day.

Inspecting children's lunches? Chicken nuggets instead of what seems like a fairly nutritious meal?

You could also include that twat, Jamie Oliver. i got a good laugh at how well his "nutritious cafeteria meals" went over in the LA schools.

    http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2012/...ol-lunch-menu/

Rejecting healthful alternatives like vegetarian curries and tamales, quinoa salads and pad Thai noodles, students are throwing them in the trash by the thousands, bringing junk food from home and buying instant noodles and other decidedly unhealthy fare from the “black markets” that have begun to thrive at campuses across the district, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The complaints have been heard and LAUSD is planning changes to the menu, the Times reports. Burgers and (healthy) pizza are coming back, and dishes like quinoa salads and brown rice cutlets are out.

Ok, I'm thoroughly confused. I've purchased Lowe's and some other coupons on e-bay for less money than they are worth. I've even seen gift cards from time to time. So I went to look for Amazon Gift Cards today and every single one is selling for more than the value of the card. I can't fathom why you would purchase these when you can just order yourself a giftcard

Guess I'm confused as well. That seems retarded. Maybe I need to buy and list some amazon cards.

People can get cash back on purchases that would offset the difference. Some are scams. I have seen people discussing how the cards are used in money laundering. International buyers are willing to pay more due to loopholes. etc, etc, etc.

    Headline fail:
Romo settles on $1,575,000 contract with Giants
Yeah, 'cause when I saw that, I totally knew they meant some relief pitcher signing with the SF Giants.

(Not that the other one would ever happen, but ...)

That one is obvious without even having to think about it for more than a second or two. First, Romo signing with the Giants, yeah right, like Jerry would ever let him leave the Boys and sign with the Giants. And no way Romo would only sign for $1.575 million.

Well, it was obvious that it wasn't Romo ... but I wasn't aware of any other Romo currently looking for a contract. So it was more confusion than anything else.

I don't know if I just somehow didn't notice this before, or what ... but I was looking at the back cover for NCAA 10 this weekend (ignore the custom front cover) ... and the image they used to promote Teambuilder caught my eye ...

    richmond spiders? what about them?

  17. #2717
Richmond was the FCS champions leading up to that game. I am not going to look for it but I recall when BCFX was coming out one of the EA DEVS posting at OS said that they had the rights to the FCS (questioning how BCFX has certain teams in it's game) and was was going to look into it. No matter, I am sure they paid Richmond something to throw them on the back of the cover.
