Nice home video, Eric. You should post the one of you dancing with Sandusky, too.

I can't get that one, its confiscated. I did find your kid's camp video though
Shouldn't that video be in the Penn State Football Thread? What the hell is that? A recruiting visit?

Whew! This thread was headed off a cliff in a fiery crash, until someone (psuexv) finally commented on the Blue Oyster Bar reference, and now this thread has turned to just awesome.![]()
Todd Haley possibly to be hired as the Steeler OC. Steeler fans happy on that one? I think he's a good coach.
Not sure on this one, he's definitely not a head coach but has been successful in other roles.
From his Wikipedia page
In 2006, Haley filed a 1.7 million-dollar lawsuit against McDonald's after his wife found a dead rat in her salad. The salad was purchased at a Southlake, Texas McDonald's restaurant while Haley was a member of the Dallas Cowboys coaching staff. His wife and their live-in babysitter began to eat before noticing the rat. The case was settled out of court for a confidential amount.[
I'm willing to give anyone a fair shake, Go Steelers! In regards to what fans think of the hire.
And WOW how in the world did I miss these last two pages![]()
Possibly is the key word at this point.
I've gone all over the place on what I think of Haley. When he was with Arizona, I had respect for what he did with their offense.
With the Chiefs, I thought he came across as a bit of a prick.
The good news is, in Pittsburgh, he wouldn't be in front of a microphone often. Obviously, his dad was a big part of the Steelers first 4 Super Bowls, and he has definitely earned his stripes, so who knows?
What I do know is that I have unyielding trust in the Rooneys to find the right man. Haley, or otherwise.

Haley did a solid job in Arizona, granted he was working with a QB that got rid of the ball quickly, still was a great job. That won't happen with Ben, but the receiving corp is just as good as the one the Cardinals had in his years.
I knew he was never HC material because of the way I've heard he acts (see Steelerfan's comment)
If he is hired, hopefully he and Ben can get on the same page quick.
Somenews from the NFL today.
The NFL is looking at not using Roman numerals for Super Bowl 50 because 50 = L which is associated with losing.
Really? Really? Reeeeeeeeeeally?

Seriously, most people would not have even thought of that if the NFL wouldn't have brought it up.
