I don't see the "tactical" play that everyone on the internet is eluding to. I mean, I guess it would be tactical if you had a full clan to run around with, but with randoms in the mix, it will never be tactical. It's more tactical than MW3, yes, but so is Hannah Montana, Dance Central, and just about every game on the planet.
Dead Island was okay, but I see it as more of a "great concept with failed execution." The game gets really repetitive and dull the more you play it. I thought it needed more side missions that allowed you to do a variety of things, rather than the same old "fetch this" style of mission.
Uncharted 3 is really good if you haven't played that. Starhawk and Twisted Metal are both coming out over the next 2 or 3 months, so it may be best to just save it if you're interested in either of those.
