It's really slow paced for some, but I enjoyed doing the detective work. The driving and shooting is VERY GTA like. I have a feeling you'll dig L.A. Noire.

Well that was the major complaint about Heavy Rain and I LOVE that game so I'm leaning heavily to buying it today from GameFly. It's also a + that it might allow me to get UC3 in the mail so I don't have to buy it too.

    For $12, yes, it's worth it. It's a bit boring, but $12 is $12.

Heavy Rain wasn't slow. It was engaging, unlike LA Noire. LA Noire was boring as hell. There was nothing all that interesting from what I played of it whereas I played through Heavy Rain twice and was intently engaged in my brother's playthrough as well. Heavy Rain was interesting because of the mystery behind it all whereas LA Noire is just a series of boring hide and seek games where it's completely impossible to ever get the "interview" mini-games correct, no matter how intently you pay attention to these people.

I so have to agree LA nore got boring super fast.Only had it a for a month .It also got very repetitive for me. The only thing I enjoy where the story some and graphics were par

LA Noire did get very repetitve after awhile. I do wish I could've beat the game, but everytime I tried to interview someone in the interview room, I was unable to start the interrogation. The only option I had was to restart the entire case and I was pretty far along.

The buy 2 get 1 deal is such a sham because they raise their prices to where you're not really saving anything.

Amazon has been sued before for things like this. If I am not mistaken, Amazon used to have new items priced differently based on where the IP address and your internet history. I.e. Person X and Person Y would go to their site and look at an item at the exact same time and the prices could very well be completely different.

Hell the same person can go into the Top 100 sales games and see the price is cheaper than in the 2 for 1 section.

Nice find which is why I don't have a real problem with it. We need the "fools" that fall for such "promotions" to pay for the $15-$20 credits for pre-ordering games.

Case in point. I just took these two screen shots:

In the 2 for 1 section:

If you just do a search for Sports Champions:

I used the buy 2 get one yesterday and for new release games it actually saved me quite a bit. I realize they screw you on certain titles but with new release games you will be saving some serious money.

    Picked up

    Rugby Challenge (59.96 separately - 59.96 in 2 for 1)
    Tropico 4 (49.99 separately - $49.99 in 2 for 1)
Red Dead GOTY for free. ($42.50 separately - $49.96 in 2 for 1 but it was FREE)

    Regards,

Guy who got one free and did not take it in the bum.

Another mediocre video games Gold Box Event. Didn't get an email until just this morning about FIFA 12.

    The deals for today:

6-8am - Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
8am-10pm - No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise
    10am-1pm - Sonic Free Riders
1-3pm - Ace Combat: Assault Horizon
3-6pm - Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games
    6-8pm - Puzzler World
8-10pm - Dead Rising 2: Off The Record

And then the Deal of the Day:

    FIFA 12 - $39.99

Absolutely nothing that I'm interested in, except for No More Heroes, but I got that new from Gamestop for $9.99 last month.

At least Black Friday is coming soon.

Nope... must have been temporary or mistake. It's $39.99 now.
