This is a family judge in Texas by the way. Makes me wish he lived next door to me, I'd whip his ass like a fucking bitch!

Of course I don't know the whole story and quit watching after the mother gave her one too and she would have to serve the same. There is other means then whipping your child with a belt, that wasn't a spanking that was a lashing.

She was downloading music to her computer for christs sake! Unreal sorry this just hits close to home for me because I stood up to an uncle once for this shit. Also not that correcting a child should this have any impact but doesn't make this sound any better that she has celebral palasy too.

I'm going to sound like the bad guy here, but I think it's bullshit the kind of furor that that story has created is happening. Disabled or not, I'm a firm believer is beating the shit out of my kids if they do something wrong, especially if it's something that, like it sounds like in this case, they have been told numerous times not to do. My mom used to whip me for everything that I did wrong as a kid. I've never been ok with using belts though. Paddles and switches are the way to go.

As for the video, it certainly looked a tad overboard, but it also sounded like parents that were sick and tired of being disobeyed (as insane as their rules were, welcome to being a kid). I can guarantee you that every household that has parents that whip their children could produce a video like that. Mine certainly could have. People certainly need to stop making such a big deal about it.

I know this isn't a forum for this and I was hesitant to even post it for those reasons but it just bothers me.

I wasn't spanked really as a kid though I knew not to cross the line with my father. I did it once when I was 15 by saying "fuck it" and he hit me in the chest only one time. And for me that's the difference. It wasn't 20 lashes of a belt.

If someone spanked me now, ok. If someone lashed me 20 times they better kill me because I'm going fuck there shit up and that to me is the difference in corrective punishment vs beating.
