Interesting ... I haven't heard Anthrax on radio since Bring The Noise

I hear their old stuff all the time on the radio. They played a little bit of their previous album when it first came out and then immediately never played any of it again.

Their song writing has become very bland. I don't know what happened, but, just like with every good old band, they decided to cut corners or just lost their muse for the music and instead are trying to go mainstream. Definitely not the Anthrax I knew anymore.

New Mastodon is awesome ...as expected. New Wilco is very good as well. I actually like the new Blink 182 as well. Never been a fan. Oh ya! And Primus' new one. Check out the song "Tragedy's a Comin".

Cool! Interested to hear what it sounds like. I'm so glad that some of the bands I'm listening to now are actually coming out with new music. For a while there, everything I was listening to was either dead as a band or just wasn't coming out with anything new anytime soon. New music to listen to is ALWAYS a good thing.

Amazon each month has 100 albums to download for $5. Some may or may not know I'm an 80's music junkie as it was basically my elementary childhood....so I got myself the Huey Lewis & The New Greatest Hits album. I remember seeing this video a shit load of times back then.

I wont even mince words, that is some of the dumbest crap i have seen and heard. you do realize this is only for early teens and the record companys just use these bands as tax write offs dont you? dont bother quoting sales of CDs to me no matter how good you think they are, these bands are less than one hit wonders even LOL

Hell, even going by music chart rankings is pre-internet thinking.

Personally, I don't care if anyone here likes what I like. That's why I like what I like and not what you like. Sometimes my tastes might intertwine with your tastes, but, for the most part, I know my music is something that most people don't like. Funny thing is, my music is even anywhere close to being as weird as some of the stuff out there. You don't know weird until you've heard bands that are nothing but noise or droning sounds that last for minutes.

Personally, I think your music tastes suck. You listen to horrible 80s music and punk music that makes me want to shoot you and then myself. At least my music takes talent.

well, I dont even necessarily like everything i post, i just want to see the reaction..but are fucking kidding me ? it takes no talent on the large scale to do what the last 3 bands you posted do? and pre internet doesnt mean shit either..the internet in a way might get you some door to door sales but the fact is you need to be pushed by commercial media and radio if you want the big bucks and commercial popularity. yes, thanks to the internet, you can seach obscure stuff, but you can only search what others put on the internet..sadly, there will be plenty that disappears, good and bad because no one did the transfer..pretty soon the 50s-60s- and 70s will be obsolete dark ages to the next generations because google will be their info God and if it aint there, it doesnt exist LOL..i'm not saying the internet doesnt help, but tv is still media king and unless people see you on the home or big screen, the internet is still underground C level popularity.

I post stuff that is considered valuable music history, the stuff youve posted wont be remembered 6 months from now
