Oh and get this..... so I went and created a NEW OD to test out... and guess what? I can NOT advance it either as I get the TRANSFER FAILED message on it right away! HAHAHAHAHAHA, so what in the HECK do you make of that? EA has managed to corrupt my player profile?!?!?! AMAZING work even for the boyz at EA, I take my hat off to you, you managed to HACK my gamertag or something! LOL
it is obviously not just you, I see many people having the same issue (both PS3 and 360) so it has to be something with the server. EA is working on it, or so they say.

We've noticed a few of you are running into issues with your dynasties failing at the "Downloading Custom Schedule." We can track this down more effectively if we know the exact error message that is displayed, or better yet, have a video.Can one of you guys that are running into the issues PM me more this additional info? Do you know if the other people like me then are so hosed that they can't even start over and make a new OD?
So just to add some more details about what has happened to me in the wild event that it can help EA fix things. We ended up advancing to post season recruiting week 1 in an effort to fix things. As you all know it did not and I still get the TRANSFER FAILED message. However the interesting thing is this. It knows and has recorded my 10 hours of recruiting as having happened and all the guys that I have recruited are no longer recruitable. However, the strange thing is that only the players who were already assigned to my recruiting board stay there. Everyone that I added in the post season recruiting (all the new guys) will NOT stick on my board but do show that I recruited. So whatever my error is does not allow for the player to get assigned to my recruiting list but DOES allow the EA server to know that I recruited him.... surely that has to tell someone something about what is going on.
Anyways, thank goodness for REAL FOOTBALL on TV today!
Another update: I am able to ADD guys and keep them on my recruiting board by COMPUTER but not by XBOX.... however, I think I am screwed now because since my XBOX couldn't hold them on the recruiting board when I talked to them and offered them scholarships they no longer think I offered them scholarships.... this totally sucks!
So I go back and turn on my XBOX and the guys I added via CPU are on my list when viewed threw XBOX. I attempted to add 1 more guy... TRANSFER FAILED again. So it appears that I am unable to change any dynasty stuff over the servers through my XBOX. However, it is interesting to note that I was able to call and TALK to the recruits through my XBOX and the server got that information, however the server could not remember that I added them to my list. I have to believe that this information is discrete enough that EA could figure out the lines of code that are failing.
Summary:
I COULD call and talk to recruits and the EA server looks like it remembers that I called the recruits
I could NOT add anyone to my board via XBOX
I COULD add players via PC to my board
I would just save myself the frustration and hold off and see what EA says about a fix. I do not want you to blow a head gasket.
LOL... the frustration turned more to amazement after a while. Almost to the point where I thought, WOW, EA's patch had more spunk then I ever thought it could.
so we are in week 3 of the season IRL... when are they going to have this fixed? Typically my OD's lose interest towards the end of the IRL season anyways.... this is pathetic.
i havent read this whole thread, but is the transfer failed issue a server problem, or an issue with a saved od file?

The only thing we know is that anything is possible at this point. If it is all on EA's side I am pretty shocked they haven't fixed it yet. However, having said that, being that virtually NOTHING was fixed that they claimed the patch would fix I am starting to wonder how "in over their head" they really are.

Evidence the problem is console related: I am able to do things on my PC with the dynasty that I can't do on the console
Evidence that it is server related: I started a NEW OD and still could not advance without the FAILURE
Evidence that it is server related: I deleted EVERYTHING game related off my console AND cleared the CACHE and I still FAILED
Evidence that EA is "in over their head": Game has been out over 2 months and its broken with no definitive word from EA on even what the problem is
so then, could it work for someone to send their gamertag/psn id to one of the ea devs, and let them recover that profile on one of their debugging consoles or somethin? i have no clue how those consoles work, but i would at least think that they'd give some kind of direction of what's causing the transfer failed issues. at the very least, though, keyser would get his od advanced.
That's what we've been doing all along in Steelerfan's OD that myself, Snoop, and EXV are a part of.
Wait up, are you telling me I can contact someone at EA and they can revive my OD? Please tell me how to do this ASAP!
We haven't got a resolution yet. They're still looking into it.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, the way you replied I took it as you have been getting yours fixed by someone at EA on some "bug free" server which sounds about as real as a fairy tale any more.
I haven't read the entire thread at OS yet, but it sounds like the Tendency bug may still exist with recruits.
