Then, the third one I looked at was a defensive playbook and it said I had 399 plays selected and 34 formations (there aren't 34 defensive formations available) when it only showed 12 selected formations, and at least two of the original ones I had selected were missing.

Again, I can't stress enough, don't convert an old custom playbook... it will only create additional possible headache for you.

Weirdest thing with my cpb. Pre patch I had a working cpb, no missing plays, no unwanted formations with one play, etc. I used Georgia Tech as based and completely changed it to a multiple offense, only flexbone that was left was the default goaline. After reading all this I was expecting to find a complete mess, but its not bad. A few oddities:

It seems like I have all my formations and plays, this includes I tight. I can use it in practice mode even tho its not shown on the cpb interface.

There are 4 flexbone formations with one play each and another with 5 plays that I can't get rid of at the cpb interface.

My questions is, is it safe to play with it? I would hate to take it into an od game and have it glitch on me. I find it so weird that pre patch my playbook was maxed out in terms of plays and now it seems like I have everything plus those extra formations/plays...

Think about it another way: You're offering to help them with something that they know they're supposed to know. I'm not saying that EA would have a problem with that -- I don't personally believe they do -- but I have seen people go apeshit when someone outside their group tries to "help", all because they feel like that person is telling them to do their job.

I know your pain, but also keep in mind that every decision at every company, not just EA and not just the game industry, gets evaluated at a level high above the individual gameplay guys or designers. Team leads and managers have a ton of power, relative to Joe Average, but they still can't sign off on everything that sounds like a good idea. If they had unlimited budget and unlimited time, I'm 100% certain that they would love to get someone like you to sit down with their playbooks guys and go through the R&S. But that's tons easier said than done. If you have soft copies of the playbooks, and you think that would help, send them my way, I can get them to the right person. I understand what you mean about it being easier face-to-face though, so I'll leave the "helpful" call up to you.

As for this whole discussion on what Community Day guys can or can't do, Kwizzy's post was spot on.

What is the purpose of Game Changers? What is the benefit to this website to be involved with it? Are you compensated in any way?

Looks like the sim clock for the OD is working better. The CPU opened the 2nd half with a 3:20 drive.

I don't remember ever getting the ball in the 2nd half with 4:41 left (in 8 min qtrs).

Cause you said the patch fixed these things and thats not true. Just because a message says so, or because you havent run into these problems, doesnt mean it is fixed.

So, the purpose of Game Changers program is to improve the EA Sports experience and continued growth of the EA Sports community, correct?

The benefit to this website is having a close connection with the people at EA Sports, early access to EA Sports games, and the ability to pass on feedback and give recommendations to product design, development, and support, is that correct also?

What kind of compensation did the targeted members receive? Free air travel? Food? Hotel commendations? Pay? Free game?

DUDE move on, he can't fix them.

NEWS FLASH a patch came out, there are issues, unless I missed a post somewhere stating all these guys work for EA and can actually go in and change the gaming code (WHICH I HOPE I DIDN'T MISS THAT POST OR HERE WE GO AGAIN) all they can do is post their thoughts and opinions. You on the other hand just want to keep arguing he said she said stuff.

The game is a "work in progress" move on.

EA needs to fuck up more often this site is never this busy on a friday night. This is some amusing shit, great break from studying.

    Where's that damn popcorn again.

On a more serious note, I do find it entertaining how people post here then go over "there" complaining about over here, but over here they are complaining about over "there". Get it? I went over "there" just to see what there just to see what was being said about over "here" and it truly is interesting what you find out. Who knew there was so much back drama.

Okay guys (and gals if their are any) continue on......

One distinction that needs to be made is between the Game Changers program (of which cdj, gschwendt, JB and others are a part) and the Community Day events that were held for NCAA 12. You do not need to be a Game Changer in order to be a Community Day participant, and not all Game Changers are afforded the opportunity to participate in Community Day events. The goals, benefits, and expectations of each program are also slightly different.

So the people involved with the Game Changers program and Community Day events are not necessarily the same. Who was able to participate in one or both from this website?

    That is the purpose, correct.

A number of the members of the Game Changers programs own and maintain their own community websites. Obviously the intention of people in the program having these websites and forums is to help them collect information and feedback about the games with the hopes that passing that information along can result in improvements to the products.

What kind of compensation did the targeted members receive? Free air travel? Food? Hotel commendations? Pay? Free game?
Since many of the community event attendees were required to take time off from their employment--sometimes without having vacation time or paid time off to use to offset the time away--expenses were compensated. All community event attendees--not just those in the Game Changers program--also received a free copy of the game prior to retail release.

Brian Parker (Paakaa10) -- Game Changer

A Game Changer so badass he don't need no stinking affiliation to some website. He doesn't change the game the game changes for him.
