I guess the meals at Golden Corral and the free stays and Days Inn must give you all the edge in this contest.![]()
Doesn't even need to be big name guys. Just grab local high school or small college coaches for a small fee for each one. And each one should be selected based on what he knows, i.e. find a guy that runs a WCO attack, a gun that runs an option attack, a guy that runs a pass-based spread, a guy that runs spread option, a guy that runs 4-3 Cover2, a guy that runs 335, and so on.
Should be very cheap to do so on a one-time consultant thing for a day to get the high-level basics and then you bring those guys back in now and then with small fees to iron out the small stuff.
Hell, high school coaches go to coaching clinics put on by the big-name coaches every damn summer and learn this stuff, so why couldn't EA pay to do the same?
WTF does that shit have anything to do with a valid discussion? You obviously don't see the point that anyone is making. Rhombic could have easily stated his arguments without taking shots at us and/or Ben and been perfectly fine. He obviously gets fed lines from other sites and is filled with completely inaccurate information. End of story. Go run back to that other site and tell them what I said so they can give you suggestions on how to respond. We're waiting.
Yep...MtneerManiac can enjoy the same vacation Rhombic has.
But thanks for pointing out that we have closed quite the gap in traffic in just 16 months.
Ummm... Actually it fixed everything that you mentioned. With the exception of the no huddle which is a new problem.
Well I guess you cell phone example doesn't make sense to me as most of these issues are new to this years game so you're not really buying a product the same product and only some of the features work. Last years game was fairly bug free, other than some gameplay improvements and they will always need to make game play improvements.
I honestly can't believe people still come over from the other site and troll. Seriously, grow up.

Look I did not mean to call out anyone and that includes anyone with the prospect of going to community days in the future but here is my reasoning for being pissed. There were multiple people with access to the game through out the development cycle from this site and multiple others and they all received early copies of the game. But not once during that time did I hear or read anyone point out the issues with the game. There were obvious problems but no one said so even after the embargo lift. If there was a time when those guys relayed those issues to ea, they knew about those issues and fixes should have began to be worked out. The patch took forever and I have been waiting for them. Now it's sept 9th and I really don't even see the reason to download the patch. Nothing about that post had any influence from anywhere but common sense. If I would have attended a community day and came back point out every issue with the game and had a negative (truthful) outlook you bet your ass I would not be invited back. My outlook is the same as it was 2 years ago. The NCAA series will not change until it is taken out of the Tiburon Studio.
I've said it several times but I'll say it again. I honestly and sincerely did not see any major issues with the game from the time they sent it to us early to the time that you guys received it. I still never saw any of the major issues that were discovered the first day the public had access... I never saw the zero play bug aside from at community events and the two guys that reported to me as having seen it, they were prior to the day one patch which suggested it would be fixing it so I assumed it would have been fixed. Honestly prior to this latest patch, I could find lots of enjoyment out of the game with the exception of transfer failed errors and guys getting DC'd in OD games.
I assure you, our goal is not to be an EA mouthpiece or just gloss over the issues with the game whether you or anyone else believes that to be the case. Just because we don't scream from the rooftops and post on twitter or facebook or elsewhere about the issues with the game, doesn't mean that we're ignoring them or anything like that, it just comes down to the fact that is not our style. We relay news, we provide a place to discuss the game, we discuss the game with you, but aside from podcasts, we don't share our "site" opinion all that much, and even in podcasts we give the good with the bad.
I know I'm not going to convince a lot of people of this fact but all I can do is pass it along and let each person take it for whatever they wish. My conscience is clear.
There was nothing we were hiding when he got the game early. Any problems we had noticed were relayed to EA immediately. Considering there are a lot of people that haven't even come acrossed some of these issues, it is very easy to not see EVERYTHING in two weeks. The first patch didn't hit until a few days before release, so most of the time we had with the game before release was straight up the retail version. Some of these issues didn't come to light until after the first patch. All in all, nothing was hidden from anyone to drive sales or whatever idiotic spin people are trying to put on it.
Like I have said a million times, I am very frustrated with the problems this game is having; however, I'm still in 4 OD's and play in two offline dynasties from time to time and can do so just fine. The majority of people will agree with that, but you have certain loud trolls that only show up when things go wrong to magnify them...and put the blame on us.
