I didn't really think that would get people more talkative, just throwing it out there. If you have any ideas, they'd be welcome.

I really hope Whaley returns next year....at 250....he will finally have over 90 trucking and break tackle....combined with 91 speed and improved acceleration....he will be a beast....especially with Earl Campbell, Jr. backing him up. Whaley was healthy this year (and with Clay out....likely will lead the country in rushing TDs) so he'll probably take his numbers and leave as Earl "should" come in rated pretty high with his elite athleticism.

Nick Cleveland would like to challange that leading the country claim...as a true freshmen he has run for 1,136 yards and 17 touchdowns on 176 attempts so far...two games to go.

Erm, Oneback ... he's up 9 TDs on you right now (Whaley has 26, and I'm not sure if that includes the 5 he got today). And I'm not giving up that many to you today.

Unless we go into OT again, lol.

That may be true, but as a Fr that played behind Michael Cox before Cox was hurt for the season and will end up starting every game next season I think Nick will be able to hang.

Well, yeah. But I think Papa was saying that he'll win it this year. Not next.

If you're tired and you want to delay our game, feel free. I seriously have no plans this weekend other than watching football and some house-cleaning.

Look forward to receiving that game update email. The 5 from last night takes it up to 31....he's now the Longhorn season record holder....hope to get 7 in the next two games to break Barry's record....but I'm sure he'll get hurt and fall short....lol.

That was my goal as well after I had the rushing yards record... I needed 8 in two games but obviously will fall short.

Pepe Pearson also got 5 today, lol. Obviously he has no hope of catching you, Papa, since I have no more games. But 25 in a season in which I played a more-than-steady dose of backups makes me pretty happy. I'm just hoping he doesn't jump to the NFL.

I have absolutely nothing to do until the bowls.

I probably will not be logging in until then, either, lol.

This is starting to look like a really bad weekend: go down in flames to tOSU, Texas goes down to UCLA and there is a very real chance the Cowboys go down tomorrow to Houston...and to top it all off I've got an ear infection which means I will be staying at home tonight.

I just saw that come across the bottom line. What happened to the Horns?

An offensive line that cannot block in the running game and a true soph QB that was starting his 4th game of his career, add in a defense that looked good early but then lost steam as the game went on due to consistantly being on the field and just got ran over in the second half.

Its not a good combination when you have a young quarterback with no running game and a play caller that is notoriously conservative.

Saw it. Earlier today I commented to my dad that Terrelle Pryor's touchdown run (watch any highlight show and it'll be in there) was something I couldn't do, even in a video game. Rogers punt return was the same.
