They're really milking the whole run free. It's pretty much what is in NCAA 14 IMO. Yes there are nice additions but honestly I often forget to string moves together ( in the heat of the moment). I'm not expecting too much from Madden 25 as compared to 13. The owner mode, new running and basic requests from last year are the big changes. Madden 25 next gen seems to be getting a little more attention for this year's launch.
I think it will be good. Right now I'm playing the M13 demo here and there after trading it in a few months ago. I can wait a few more weeks for the new demo and then the game. Owner mode will get no love for me so I hope the normal franchise wasn't overlooked. I still wish there was a scouting points slider so we could determine the starting amount of points a coach gets.
I'm not a huge owner mode advocate either but I will surely be trying it out fully for season ticket. I have every intention of moving a team to see what it's like. I will probably do two sim tests... recreate the Houston Oilers and maybe a new team in Europe (Dublin???).
Madden 25 will be solid but it will NOT be a huge jump IMO. As you know I greatly enjoyed Madden 13 so I suspect that Madden 25 will be even more polished. I just hope all the little bugs have been fixed and the offline/online issues no longer exists.

Hopefully there will be multiple teams like last year. Personally I would love to see Atlanta and Seattle as a matchup but since Seattle was in last year, I doubt it.
Multiple teams? I've been playing it and I thought it was only SF vs. the Giants. I just looked it up and there is the Redskins vs the Seahawks lol. I'm so stupid. I didn't even remember they had multiple teams. Going to play some of that tomorrow then lol.

Tons of MUT stuff. I really wish they would add achievements for lengthy franchise mode (online or off) like win 20 games, rush for 50 TDs, throw for 50 TDs, etc. Someone on OS said they don't even have a trophy for winning the Superbowl.
We do know there is a skills trainer (can't remember if that had been shown yet) and it's probably very similar to NCAA. There is a no huddle trophy. Not sure if the Madden no huddle is like NCAA or not though (I think it's still the same as last year but wish it was like NCAA).
Another community day for Madden tomorrow. Hopefully we get some good impressions and comparisons to NCAA 14. The game should be close to finished. @shopmaster will be there.

Any ways the teams I was asking about was for the up coming demo this year of course.
I started playing it a bit to compare it to the NCAA 14 demo. I traded Madden 13 in a few months ago for $30. It was a good deal so I took it. After 6+ months of football gaming I usually get burnt out on it or tire of the problems with the game. It also helps keep me fresh and wanting to play the new version when it comes out. I normally play a baseball game from March until I get my first football game but I got tired of the Show and haven't really done that. I have enjoyed Tomb Raider and The Last of Us along with some games with my kids this year.
can't wait to read about their experiences. Hopefully we'll get some new videos as well.
Agree about wishing there was more content for those of us who play multiple franchise modes. I won't be obtaining many of these achievements/trophies as I don't play online and have very little interest in MUT.
It sounds like there may be a heavy NDA on this one. Shop wasn't sure what he would be able to say. Hopefully we'll get some good info.
I wouldn't be surprised it there was since its within a month of release.
I just don't get Ea's marketing at all this year. NCAA info barely flowed at all and there has been very minimal buzz about Madden thus far. If you're proud of your product, let the people talk about it.
Looks like no impressions from community day due to heavy NDA. The demo event they had in NY (for reporters last week) featured two matchups: Seattle vs. GB and SF vs. BAL. I wonder if that will be the demo for everyone in August?
JPDavis on Twitter and OS is just a hound for Madden info. He posts a lot of info on the forums but just hounds people for information. At least 3 EA Devs have blocked him and he's desperately trying to change that. He openly wants to be a Game Changer but I don't think he realizes that asking the same questions every 2 hours just annoys people. If you don't get an answer then it's probably for a reason. Just stop already. Seems like a nice guy and I follow him for Madden info because he's on every piece of info out there like white on rice. But he's too obsessive over Madden and the Game Changer program. It can be comical reading him whine over trying to be a GC.
LMAO yeah if you are getting blocked by EA employees on Twitter you have 0% chance of ever becoming anything associated with EA.
