Well we got off to a good start in night one. I guess there were some people chomping at the bit to get back out on the digital field. Currently we are just waiting on the Miami (texacotea) vs Va Tech (skip) game and Texas Tech (Kingpin) vs Oklahoma (Iron Dragon) game. Other than those two we've got Jeff's game vs Northwestern and g's game against Purdue and two guys (both psu's) that have bye weeks.

Hopefully we will be able to advance soon.

I'll be playing when I get home tonight. Yesterday I didn't get home until after 8:30 for the third straight night, so I was too tired to spend an hour against Northwestern.

Ohio State rolls Northwestern, 39-0. The backups play the vast majority of the snaps, as Ohio State coach JeffHCross rotates his 1st and 2nd team on alternate drives throughout the entire game, then lets the backups play the entire 4th quarter.

Senior DT Shane Clark makes a move into the starting lineup with a 4 solo tackle, 1 sack performance, utterly dominating the Wildcats line whenever he was on the field.

Backup QB Stanley Jackson is lost for the game, but thankfully early in the contest. Combined with the injury to WR Buster Tillman earlier in the season, that's two costly injuries at two of the thinnest Buckeye positions. Former high school QB, now cornerback Ahmed Plummer, would come into the game with the 2nd team and perform admirably, also playing with the defense throughout the game.

In other news ... so, how 'bout that contest for the rushing title?

By the way Oneback, I was considerably more impressed with Northwestern's rush defense than I was by Indiana's. So it must have been the ratings last week that contributed to my ridiculous rushing.
