Iowa State just got screwed on the replay. Twas a fumble.
Utah State is somewhat relevant lately

LOL I didn't say they were ready for no national championship. The fact is their stats are still impressive for the low tier team they are to this point. Regardless of the last game.
They did lose their QB tonight, otherwise it would have been a closer game. They only lost two games last year and have been to a bowl the past two years. For Utah State, that is pretty damn good. I do not recall this much success at Utah St since the Merlin Olsen years. So yeah, they have been somewhat relevant lately.

Besides, if you lost to Lane Kiffin this season, you are NOT relevant.
Oh, you're talking about the MNC. Nah.
To be honest, of the sports and teams that I follow, college football is 4th on the list. Just not that important. Besides, in my lifetime I've seen every one of my teams win a championship other than the Astros (baseball is 5th on my list) and they will probably never win one. When your teams have success it makes the bad easier to take. I was over the MNC by halftime, just like I realized the Steelers were in for a LONG season this year during the 3rd quarter of the opener. When you get old, it's just not THAT important anymore. Certainly not worth carrying any butthurt.
In case you're wondering, my list looks like this:
1) Steelers
2a) Penguins
2b) Chelsea
4) Irish Football
distant 5) Astros (baseball is a great sport, but MLB ruins it)
extremely distant 6) Rockets (haven't given a shit about the NBA in 16 years, but I'm a Rockets fan if a gun is put to my head)
woohoo !
I need and to have big days today.
so far Texas Tech is doing nicely but I want that 40 point barrier broken
.....oohh noo, the TT QB just went down holding his knee

Navy with the big win today over Air Force!
Midshipmen started off slow, not able to get much going on offense in the first half. Thus, Air Force took a 10-7 lead into halftime. But it was all Navy in the second half, as the offense scores 21 points, getting the run game and the pass game rolling, and the defense shuts out Air Force for the entire second half and forces two turnovers, recovering a fumble with 8 minutes left, and then intercepting a pass with around 2 or 3 minutes left.
Most importantly, Navy is in the driver's seat for their second consecutive Commander-in-Chief's Trophy! A win over Army on December 14th, and the C-I-C remains in safe hands in Annapolis.
and the back up Webb comes in and throws a TD pass on his first throw on his first play
