Ign shows a demo feed of next gen. Pastapadre was let down a bit and I can see why since the IE looks and feels very similar. Player movement is said to be better. It's clear to me though that the OL/DL interactions are the big upgrade. You can see the biggest improvement there.
On those Pasta vids I noticed the replays are a lot better. More like M12 when I saw one. Late in the first video they just hi lighted the WR the entire way.

The first thing that stands out to me is the slow acceleration compared to past Madden's. I mean it takes almost 3 seconds to run the first 15 yards of the kickoff back. I know it was way quicker before more like 1.5 to 2 seconds for the 1st 15 yards of a return in Madden 12. I don't know if this was because the player was not using the acceleration burst or not (probably not). I remember gschwendt talking about acceleration in NCAA 14 and that the real speedy HB's felt explosive compared to average backs so I guess this is that (and I like it).
I like that too. Game speed also affects that feel.
My only problem with changing the game speed from normal to slow is that the animations particularly the break tackle (Trucking and Stiff Arm) animations slow down too much and make it darn near impossible to get yards after a successful break tackle animation plays out. The player movement is much smoother on slow though so it is a toss up and I think that is why I leave it on normal since I use trucking and stiff arm moves a bunch when I run.
Madden does look pretty sweet. Still unsure what system I wanna get it for.
Why are they showing the same running plays and no passing ugh . Oh well. But I have to say it does look sweet. I will be waiting until November for Madden 25 when the ps4 comes out. And stick to playing NCAA 14 until then ..

This could be a bad sign but remember it's very early for next gen Madden compared to release. They have 3 more months yet after current gen releases. They talk a lot about how intelligence should be better on the next gen system and they confirmed all the features will be there. But I want to see how the cpu AI is. Huge question mark.
I do think those current gen videos look good.

For me, Madden looks significantly better than NCAA. Player details, graphics, animations, player momentum (heavier). The entire production value is just more my style.

As I see more or information/tweets, it appears Madden is really being pushed for the PS4 version moreso than the PS3 version.
Hell even going to the Madden page, I'm getting two options PS4 or XboxOne
Looking like I'll just hold off on getting Madden until PS4 version releases.
