    Madden 25 Cover Vote

The Cover Vote for this anniversary edition is now ready! Legends vs. Current players and Dan Marino represents the Legend Dolphins. He's only a #4 seed though. Rudy's angry!

interesting that Brady/Manning didn't even get in the bracket? I'm pulling for an old school QB but I think the sleeper is Ray Lewis in the "old school" bracket apparently 1 month out = old school.

I wonder if that was an EA choice or a player/contract choice.

    That vid was cool.

I'd like to see Deion on the cover, or Gronk.

A few gripes here. Chad Johnson old school? You have Zero offensive linemen on the list on either side and only a few defensive linemen. For cripes sake stick Anthony Munoz in his place. Only thing I would vote for is an O-Lineman or the Ambulance. The list is a sham, ESPN is a sham and cover votes are a sham.

Maybe Sony and MS had them sign an agreement to not be on a competitors box for a certain period of time. Manning was on the cover for all three of the Xbox games.

You can't be surprised though. Cover athletes are used to promote the box. They want guys that are recognizable. In the era of fantasy football the average football fan could probably list the majority of starting QBs, RBs and #1 WRs on teams but would be clueless about the lineman. It's just the way it is.

I got my first round votes all in. When does it end for round 1?

March 20th. After that every round is about a week. I think they want it all wrapped up for the draft. The draft is usually when we get our first decent info about the upcoming Madden.

I'm hoping for Marino but he has to go through Marshall Faulk and then Joe Montana in rounds 2-3. That will be tough. I think Montana is at a bit of a disadvantage since he's dropped out of the public eye. Marino has a prominent spot with CBS' show so we'll see.

I would like to see Tim Brown make it a few rounds but that probably isn't going to happen. Oh and FYI... Carson Palmer for the Raiders...???... Now that's just cruel!

My final would be Primetime vs All Day. With Leon Sandcastle taking it.

Round 2 is now up. Don't forget to vote for Danny boy! His win percentage was down so I think he will struggle the next two rounds.

I got my vote in for round 2. I can't believe CK7 made it the second round would be sweet to see 2 9ers in it or at least one!

I think Kaepernick is going to struggle a bit in this round. We'll see.

Yes true CK7 will struggle I'm sure late. But will be a good voting show down. Any 49er will be good on the cover IMO.

Marino defeats Faulk! Tough battle against Joe Montana though. The lowest seeds left are #5 seeds Michael Strahan and Ray Rice.
