Droid Apps/Widgets?

So I ordered a Droid X the other day & it'll be here next week. I've been checking out some of the apps available & I'm amazed & overwhelmed... Anyone have a droid/android phone & wanna share their favorite apps?

I also have the advance task killer, but the funny thing is I still have things like MP3 store, clock, maps, voice dialer, calendar, etc still pop up when I don't want them to to try to conserve battery life.

Those things run... even if you turn them off they basically turn themselves back on.

I've got the HTC Hero with 2.1 as well, though I'm upgrading September 1 to either the EVO or the Samsung Epic 4G... depends which phone is in stock at the time since Sprint isn't giving EVOs to existing customers (pissing me off). I don't have too many applications on mine. Google Goggles, Facebook, Pandora, NASCAR, ESPN Scorecenter, Sprint NFL Live, SprintTV, Twitter, WeatherBug Elite, Police Scanner, Fox News, Drudge Easy, WSOCTV (local news), Bank of America, Advanced Task Killer...

Didn't even think about Google Earth, going to download that later. Not sure what else I have. Some games...
