    How does ND get ahead of Alabama is beyond me, and that's without even looking outside of the top 5.

    It's not silly, but, obviously, it has its flaws. The sad part is, if memory serves, the Colley Matrix is one of the only BCS Computer Rankings that we actually have a clue how it works. Most of the other systems are completely undocumented.
