Jump Catch

I was wondering how everyone felt about the jump catch animation for wr's? i like it alot i 've found holding the button in for a couple of seconds activates it. but i don't think its overdone, plus its not a guaranteed catch or yac

How do you execute the jump catch

Is Jump Catch the same as Rocket Catch?

I tend to see it when I take manual control of the WR and turn back to the ball (within the red circle) then hit TRI/Y to catch the ball. He'll often jump up very high and attempt the catch.

Jump catch and leaping linebackers are both way too frequent for my tastes.
