UCLA rallies from a 16-0 deficit and a 33-20 fourth quarter hole to defeat Clemson 34-33. The Tigers would miss a potential game-winning 55-yard field goal attempt with 0:06 remaining that sailed wide right.
Starting QB Brett Hundley was knocked out of the game in the first half with an Achilles injury, resulting in back-up QB Richard Behaut leading the team to victory. The win gives UCLA an 8-6 record on the season.
SUN BOWL MVP: WR Jerry Rice, Jr.: 8 rec., 174 yards, 4 TD. Rice finishes his career as a 2nd-team All-American.
Rutgers loses 42-28. The Georgia defense was tough to run on. Pretty much had to pass the whole game as my Heisman hopeful running back could only muster about 1.6 yds per carry. Oh well we're just happy to make it to Rose Bowl right?
I may not be able to get my game in until Saturday - been tied up at work, and have family in from out of town.
