Bowl eligibility for Baylor is going to be tough. A big letdown loss to Kansas last week after upsetting Iowa State puts Baylor at 3-5, and 3 of the next 4 games are against ranked opponents. Maybe if I don't make a bowl, the DC will be fired
Cal kept their bowl hopes alive by upsetting Oregon, 24-10. Cal relied on a balanced offensive attack and a stout defense to escape with a surprisingly easy victory. After taking a narrow 10-7 lead into halftime, the Bears opened up the game in the third quarter, as Zack Maynard connected with WR Keenan Allen on a 36-yard touchdown off play-action, and then hit tight end Spencer Hagan for another touchdown two minutes later. The Bears' defense forced three turnovers and limited the Ducks from connecting on big plays.
