Mich/NW could be an interesting game, Persa will have a game under his belt and should shred the UM D. I'd take the over in that game

Wow! We (Southern Miss) have more votes then Ohio St.! I still can't believe we lost to Marshall. I hate It when we lose games we should win. That was our curse last season.

After last night's debacle, we now get Ohio State-Nebraska in primetime on ABC.

Oklahoma vs. Texas will be a good one to see how far Texas has made it back since last year, but I still expect OU to win convincingly. OU, Bama, LSU, Stanford, Wisconsin, Boise, & Okie State know they need to win and win convincingly to stay in the hunt.

Clemson, Texas, Georgia Tech, Michigan, Illinois, Kansas State will need a lot of luck to get into title contention. UT might get to that upper echelon if they can knock off OU though, but no CCG might keep them behind an undefeated or one-loss SEC team.

Well, after that crap I saw from Ohio State's impotent offense Saturday while having some bdubs with a friend, I'd say Nebraska is going to be just fine.

They get a RB, WR, and LT off suspension this week. They may be ready to breathe fire out there, provided they get some decent playcalling. I think it will be a very close game, but also an ugly one.

Yeah, I saw that. It'll depend on how game-ready those guys are coming off those suspensions. The practice helps, but will they be ready for full game speed after sitting out all these games this year?

Hey but PSU still looks horrendous and I'm not expecting much offensively from them. Can the defense win them another game this week???

I'm really looking forward to that Northwestern game, I fully expect Persa to have a day against that defense but can they stop Denard??

I think OU will pound Texas this week. I just don't think Texas is ready for the stretch of games they have upcoming.

I just hate the whole two QB system. I do not think it will be an advantage against teams with a good defense, something Texas has yet to face.

    Not so fast my friend.

    http://espn.go.com/college-football/...sions-extended

Three Ohio State players have been suspended for Saturday's game for accepting too much money for too little work in their summer jobs.

Last year's leading rusher, Daniel Herron, and the top returning receiver, DeVier Posey, along with offensive lineman Marcus Hall will not be permitted to play when the Buckeyes (3-2) play at No. 14 Nebraska on Saturday.

Herron and Posey had five-game suspensions -- for accepting cash and free or discounted tattoos -- extended. They were expected to be reinstated to play this week. Hall will be missing his first game.

I agree... though I prefer that jersey much more than anything else they wear.

True, they've worn a lot worse. But still, good lord. Oregon has already permanently solidified their status as the JB of college football uniforms. There's no bigger whore than them. Take a break already and just stick with what you already have.

So unlike last week, I have this feeling of overconfidence this week against Ohio State.

Well they can replay this Red River Rivalry on the Longhorn network all they want.

Utah getting blown out by ASU at home. Now 0-3 in conference.
Colorado getting drilled by Stanford at the half. About to be 0-2 in conference.
    Nebraska...

This whole moving to a different conference is not working out that well. I really thought Nebraska had this one in the bag and the defense would hold THE Ohio St to no more than a FG by half.
