Even though there aren't a lot of ranked match-ups, I can see a lot of close games and maybe upsets this week.

The A&M/Arkansas game doubles as a "Welcome to the SEC" game for A&M but is also a game each team needs to stay near the top half of the Top 25.

I'm still not sure what to think of Clemson yet. The VT game should show which team (if either) is legit this season.

    Air Force @ Navy
    Wake Forrest @ Boston College
    Georgia Tech @ NC State
    Wahington @ Utah
    UCLA @ Stanford
    ------------------------------------------------------
Those are all the games that i'm really interested in, although i will be flipping to others on commercials. Glad to see LSU got the no. 1 ranking seeing as their schedule has been deadly so far.

I can't wait to see Nebraska vs Wisconsin and Clemson vs Virgina Tech.

Those 2 games are ones I'm really looking forward to watching this week.

The way we're playing, we better brace to take it up the tailpipe.

At least Nebraska has played a descent team in Washington this year. Wisconsin has not played anyone this year. That has to help the Huskers a bit. That said with the game being played at Wiscy, I just do not see them losing this one.

Yeah, but Nebraska's passing defense is 10th in the B1G right now. That scares me going up there.

A little late, but my games of interest for this week

12:00 PM ET No. 14 Texas A&M vs. No. 18 Arkansas
12:00 PM ET Air Force at Navy
2:00 PM ET Kent State at Ohio
3:30 PM ET Auburn at No. 10 South Carolina
3:30 PM ET Bowling Green at No. 22 West Virginia
3:30 PM ET Michigan State at Ohio State
6:00 PM ET No. 13 Clemson at No. 11 Virginia Tech
7:00 PM ET Duke at Florida International
8:00 PM ET No. 3 Alabama at No. 12 Florida
8:00 PM ET No. 8 Nebraska at No. 7 Wisconsin

Another pretty quiet week. The only games I am going to be seriously watching will be Air Force-Navy, Duke-Florida International, and Nebraska-Wisconsin. The rest will be games for flipping between during commercials or blowouts.

Oh lord. If this game gets any worse, to hell with the beer. I'm breaking out the hard liquor and getting seriously trashed.

A&M blows another big lead in a loss.

Texas Tech spots Kansas 20 points and still covers.

  14. #14
Tech's defense is just not very good. That was what Tubby was supposed to bring to Tech.

Penn State fans need to breathe a sigh of relief, almost lost to a team that got beat by North Texas.

Miss. St. drops to 0-3 in the SEC. Most disappointing team in the country?

  17. #17
They would be a good choice. If TCU loses to SMU they would be there with Miss St.

Growing up across the street from some hardcore Miss St fans, the less they ring those cowbells, the better.

P.S. Hurricane suicide watch is on

    Miami 21

Watching the Baylor KSU game and Baylor is playing well on the road against a good KSU defense. Baylor winning a big one on the road would be a tremendous boost in confidence.

Edit: WOW! What a TD pass/catch to pull them ahead by two scores. Check that one out on ESPN later.

    Almost forgot

Congrats to the Aggies on their SEC warm up choke.

The Ohio State offense is pitiful....wow. They are getting worse as the season goes on. (Nebraska had the same issue the last couple years, so I know how it feels.)

That catch by Wright (BAY) was awesome. RGIII plays like a video game QB; unreal.

Not able to see the Ohio State game but checking out gamecast. Getting shutout at home.

RGIII does play like a video game QB and Wright is pretty much Randy Moss from the original NFL 2K game.
