The Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection -- September 27th, 2011

Noticed that we didn't have a forum thread for this in "Other Video Games" yet, which I thought was a shame.

Due out on Tuesday, September 27th, 2011, The Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection for PS3 collects two Team Ico games from the PlayStation 2 era and updates them to HD.

    Product description from Amazon.com:

I have to admit that I never played Ico, but Shadow of the Colossus was one of those "landmark" games that changed the way I thought about video games as an industry. I remember buying it on PS2 when it came out during my senior year of undergraduate study and playing the game for an entire weekend straight--ignoring work that needed to be done on my thesis project--because I was so transfixed by how the game was put together. Watching the third video above--which compares the PS2 and PS3 video of the game's introduction--is just incredible to me.

I'll put these in spoiler tags so that anybody who hasn't played the original games doesn't have anything spoiled by what's in the videos.

I played ICO all the way through. Fun game, good puzzles but one annoying aspect.

Penny Arcade summed it really well.
